Good morning MMC!! Merry Friday Eve!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrr, it's cold outside!!!!

I managed to get 3 batches of peanut brittle made yesterday b/f I ran out of ingredients!! Of course my last batch was the best!!! I bought more ingredients & the sun is shining today. Hoping to get 4-5 GOOD batches made today & I'll be done!!

Hey Christmas friends...sorry I have been MIA. My Gram passed away last Thursday and my brother and his family have been here from NC. She was 94 and lived a wonderful life, we were blessed to have her as long as we did. I hope everyone is doing well and I am going to try to catch up around here. I am done with my shopping but I have not wrapped. I am hoping to start that tomorrow. Tonight we have my youngest daughter's play at school. Hope you all have a great day and evening!

Wow...nice!!! I was surprised our school was on time this morning. So cold!!!
We re-financed a couple times. Amazing how much you can save when you take the time to look into it!! Awesome! Just when we were down to a couple years left on our loan....we remodeled & added on. Ah well... it's a reason to work, right?

Today was another really nice sit around the house, Christmassy Day! The final paperwork for the refi went smoothly, and we might even get to keep some additional money we thought we would have to give back. It is from the house insurance because we changed that too during the refi. If we cannot keep it, no big deal, but what I nice little Christmas gift if we can! Plus, we did not have to make a December house payment and do not need to pay January's payment either! Next payment is February. That is a nice chunk of change back in the old wallet.

It seems strange to have to head back to school tomorrow. Oh well, just one day and then the weekend. Then three days next week and those are easy for me, just giving semester exams.

Good early Friday morning! Woke up at 3am and couldn't fall back asleep. It's currently -33°C/-27°F outside and it won't warm up much more during the day. I'm just trying to relax and setlle my mind so I can sleep some more. Hope everyone will have a wonderful day coming up.

Morning! Wow it's cold out...but it's going to warm up a bit this weekend with some snow and then rain. My brother's flight is set to arrive 5AM Saturday but the snow is supposed to start tonight around 2AM. I'm not sure if he's going to be delayed or not. My Christmas Party was a lot of fun. It always is. Today is Friday thankfully and although this will be a busy pre-Christmas weekend it also should be a fun one. Have a great Friday!

Good morning MMC! Merry, Happy Friday!! YAY!!!!!

Emma came over last night, just to give her a break from being "cooped up" at moms house all week - we drove around to see some lights & then she wanted to relax at our house with Christmas lights & cocktails (Yep, @snowflake22 she chose Lienie's Berry Weiss & she loved it!) We had such a nice visit. I just ♥ her! I get off work at noon today & I'll head home to let Miss Grace out & then I'll be heading to moms to spend the day/night with her. I feel like I'm bringing everything but the kitchen sink along - hoping to get some cooking/baking done! My SIL is going to relieve me at 8am tomorrow - I'll head home to get things ready for cookie day with my friend & her daughters! We also have a wedding tomorrow AND our neighborhood house hopping tomorrow night! I just want a nice relaxing cookie day - nothing else - doesn't look like that's going to happen! Sunday is Christmas at my in-laws! Going to be a fast & busy weekend!

Still need to figure out what I'm going to make for mom & I for supper tonight - and bring those ingredients along too!

Starting out today at 7º - BRRRR! Supposed to get some snow, then freezing rain overnight...and then 42º tomorrow with rain (yuck) - crazy weather!
