I only took two courses in college, so about six months. But as with any language, if you don't practice it you lose it. I can still count to ten, ask someone how they are, say "I love you" and "I don't understand what you are saying" and other simple sentences, and when I read I recognize some words. An employee of ours also took a course in college, so I would try to exchange some words with her. Now she has switched to Japanese. I just love languages.

very true about not practising languages You haven´t learn.......I lost pretty much everything I learned in French class....and it was about 7 years......okay....I never really cared much for it....didn´t like the sound that much......I wasn´t doing bad in it, in school....I just didn´t care....so all I learned was just in my head for the tests and after that...I just forgot the stuff....

English is a different thing for me....always loved it, got interessted in music, translated the lyrics and started reading English books.....I never stopped talking English and am almost as fluent in English as I am in my mothertongue German....
 
I am finished all my wrapping and baking finally. Carolina is in bed and sleeping. She's very excited so I thought she would have a hard time getting to bed but surprisingly no argument. I just have to get 1 gift card which work is holding for me since the 2nd part of Mikes gift won't be here til January. Its an Ultraman figure that's coming from Japan.
I work 8 to 330 tomorrow then we will go to church and back to Mikes parents for a bit
 
If only things were as they had been.....I miss Darlene and our little get together.....in honor of...here is the first night Made, Binger, and I was together for this amazing tradition.

That was a magical night!!! It's just not the same watching the YouTube videos.

Good evening everyone ~
Sorry I've been MIA. It has been incredibly hectic here and to top it off I came down with an awful upper respiratory infection. I'm trying to keep my spirits up but I've really run myself in to the ground. I'm praying the antibiotics kick in so I feel better ASAP, especially since I'm hosting Christmas Day. It's also going to be an extra special Christmas for us this year, I'll fill all of you in afterward. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I will pop back in over the weekend.
