I made it! Santa has taken off! Now, for one of my favorite traditions....time to watch Polar Express and A Christmas Carol.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE, MY FRIENDS!
I spent the day yesterday getting things cleaned up around here for Christmas. We're getting a big TV for the family room, so we bought a new TV table. Jacob and I moved furniture around, making room for the new table.
Then I went outside to cut the grass.
I'll let that sink in for a bit...

Yes, cutting the grass at Christmas. It was 75°F yesterday. That's life in the south! And I've been cleaning the pool. I even considered getting in to make the work easier. LOL
We're having Christmas with Nancy's family tonight after church service, then Christmas Day at Mama's.

Lol!!! Cutting the grass in winter is a bonus Brad! In NC all we had was a weird weed that grew tall, had these black things that stuck to your pant legs or socks. Dormant grass, but tall weeds all over used to drive me nuts!!MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE, MY FRIENDS!

I'm just relaxing on the couch with a cup of tea and Maggie snuggled up next to me. I have to get moving soon, lots to do to prepare for tomorrow. We'll be with my in-laws this evening at their house. Tomorrow will be spent with my side of the family here at our house. Looking forward to both.

Well, Folks. We have arrived in style -- MMC style.
And it is Christmas Eve once again!
Days to Christmas Day: 1 (That would be tomorrow, Folks. Yes. Tomorrow.)
Our long journey ends tonight. The plane has landed and is at the arrival gate just about ready to open its doors.
A bit on the chilly side here yesterday but all in all, really pretty nice for late December. There was plenty of sun and no preciptation of any kind.
(We will enjoy it while we can!)
Our thermometer informs us that this fine Christmas Eve has commenced here at 45 degrees.
You. Each and every one of you. Have a Sensational Saturday and a truly memorable Christmas Eve. You deserve it, my Friends.
Loads of thanks once again for counting down with me for the last 366 days. After all, this is a special kind of journey. The kind that cannot be traveled alone. It's one that must be taken together with like-minded people. People who know what it's all about and understand what it all means.
