Morning! December 26th...for a Christmas lover a date that can be a little sad. But I don't feel sad this morning. I feel excited and happy. It was a very good Christmas season this year. And I definitely learned some things this year that will help me prepare better for Christmas season 2017. We were really tired last night and this morning I woke up feeling like I could sleep half the day lol. But I got up like I always do. Rollins is up and playing with his new toys. Looks like he had a great 1st Christmas too. Hope you all have a great day. Don't be sad...Christmas is either here or on it's way!
Its on its way..364 to go!! After the 1st I go into 2017 deco in earnest. Alot of tree stuff will change this year and with any luck I can score a vintage white.

That made me smile, she looks so cute! I really don't know how you guys get her to keep something on her head long enough for a picture, no such luck with Loki.
The groomer says Gracie will do anything for a treat! LOL

Merry Christmas, friends!!
Hope you're all having a magical day with your loved ones!
Hugs & prayers~
"God bless us everyone!!"

I was hoping to see you check in! Merry Christmas snowflake! I hope you and Adi and Har and all your family had a wonderful Christmas!!!

Happy morning after, Christmas friends!

Before I found this place, I used to get the PCBs (Post-Christmas Blues), sometimes even before Christmas Day. But not anymore! It's Christmas all the time here!

We had the family over for breakfast here yesterday morning, then we had a late lunch & gift exchange at my mom's. We stayed late, then came home with the HUGE TV she bought us. While Nancy slept, I got it working, hooked up to the network, and programmed with Netflix & Vudu. I'm ready!

Work is closed today, but we're back at it tomorrow. We only get one day off for New Years, on Monday. But that gives me two four-day workweeks.

I hope y'all have a great day!:D

Well I'm up now. It's officially the day after Christmas.

Nothing Christmassy on TV, family didn't even light up the tree this morning, I have to put my big boy pants on and go back to work soon.

Thanks for being here MMC and everyone here. Otherwise I wouldn't know where to turn right now.
-surprise-

Turn on that Christmas tree and change the channel – plenty of Christmas left on TV yet! I'm watching "the Santa Claus" but on DVR. Got my Christmas candles going… It's still the holiday season!

I agree with you Brad about the post Christmas blues! I don't have them yet but it usually doesn't set until after the new year when all holiday festivities are over. I'm already excited to start counting down to next Christmas!

Enjoy your day off and your new TV!

@MerryCarey hopefully you can open this link for the pattern for the Afghan my sister made

If you are a member of ravelry it's a free download.

Thank you!
The link gives me an error message, but I appreciate the thought. I can always register with Ravelry and look for it there! I like the creative way the patterns uses bobbles/popcorns!

Same here! Looking forward to another extended weekend.
Because I don't expect to use any more vacation days until June ... and January at the office may be one long grind. I overheard my supervisor asking whether the building heat could be left on for evening and weekend work for the first couple weeks of January; we may be working through the MLK holiday as well. Oh, well, it's employment that makes it possible to plan for the next Christmas season!

Thanks! Glad to know others still consider it so.

And I know. My family loves the holidays, but it's just not a priority anymore for them, and I would say for most people now.

I've got my own set up and everything. It's been illuminated non-stop all month and won't be off for at least another two to three weeks. As far as TV goes, indeed I plan to go back and re-watch all my DVRs from December, probably more so now than before as I'm just continuing to hang on to and maintain what's left of the holidays.

Good Afternoon .. Hope everyone had a Great Christmas. Ours was very good, didn't have as many guests for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner which made it feel a bit different. We are used to having a house full on Christmas Eve with a big sit down dinner however the past 2 years were scaled way down and we decided we rather have a house full :) So now we are planning on having a Christmas Eve Party next year. Planning on getting a loadable gift card for the grocery store and each month add money to it to cover the food for the party.

We went to walmart early this morning and stocking up on boxes, wrapping paper and name tags. Picked up more outside lights and decorations too.

Rest of today will be spent watching Christmas Movies that I didn't get a chance to watch yet and snacking on left overs.

Have a great day
