I was going to go car shopping tomorrow but I may hold off another week if its going to be like this. We have a light snow coming down now. There was just enough on the patio that Gracie could scoop up a nose full this morning!! :D

It's finally cooler this morning, as evidenced by a thick coat of frost on my windshield. I like it!

Not much happening today. I plan to have lunch with mom & my brother. Later tonight I plan to go to that auction with him. Maybe his luck will rub off on me, and I'll find an awesome deal, too!

VERY good point!!! Emma had "Emma's Dressing" baking in the oven when I was there last night. OMGosh! It looked & smelled amazing!!! She said there was plenty there for me to have supper with them, but I had already planned the Mexican Stuffed Shells. Maybe Mom & I will have it for leftovers for lunch tomorrow! :)

Yesterday at work I had the huge surprise of receiving a call from Iran! An employee had asked for a leave of absence in December to go see her ailing father. She had sent me a few emails since leaving, to check in and give us some news. I never expected her to call us at work. Her father has good days and bad days. It's such a difficult situation for her, she's their only child and very close to her father so she had to go, but she has her children here at home and is feeling torn. We have a lot of immigrants working at our store and I am amazed at what they have gone through and how they left family behind to start a new life. I won't even move to a different province because I don't want to be too far from my family, I can't even imagine moving to a different continent.

I'm just waiting for David to be done with his physio. It will likely be his last appointment, his physiotherapist says she'll give her ok for him to start working again on Tuesday. He has to see his doctor first on Monday and then he should be all set. I'm really happy for him, the physio has made a world of difference. Soon as he gets home, it's off to the in-laws and then running a few errands. Have a great day everyone!

Wow Martine... do you get a moment or two for a cup of coffee? ;) We have quite a few here in SD as well and I'm sure it can be tough on them with family members so far away. I hope she is doing well back home and that David gets his "thumbs up" as well.

Have a great day and weekend. Looking for anything in particular? Car dealerships don't like it on those occasions when I show up. When they ask me the question, I usually smile at them and ask "What the difference, don't they all basically do the same thing?"

It amazes me how much used cars cost now. I hope you find a good deal on one.

Lol!!

I think I've narrowed it down to a Chevy cruze or a Ford focus. I want something small but not to tiny and that gets good gas mileage.

A blanket Happy Friday/Thinking of You to everyone!

So happy it's Friday, but being greedy and wishing it were Friday afternoon. Late Friday afternoon. The weekend won't be very relaxing, but it'll be a break from the office. Hoping for some sofa time during the weekend between commitments.
