Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm glad to be back at work. Yesterday, Nancy & Jacob worked, and Elizabeth watched pre-recorded Hallmark movies, so I just sat around the house. Ugh. It also helps that I like my job. We did finally get out to take Elizabeth to dance last night. We went to Walmart (of course) while we waited on her, then over to Hobby Lobby. No Christmas stuff at all! o_O I guess it wouldn't be special if it stayed out all year, but they could have left some stuff on half an aisle!

I have plenty of work to do, so I better get back to it. I hope y'all have a great day! :D
"Glad" isn't really the word I would use to describe how I feel about being back to work!! :P ;)
Hope you have great day!!!

Merry Tuesday everyone! First day back for me and I am going to ease into it, taking my time catching up on emails, etc..It is a pretty dreary day here but not too cold so I can handle that. I am going to get a workout in later. Hope you all have a good day!
Happy New Year SFM! Hope your 1st day back goes well!

Given how many months Hobby Lobby has the Christmas items on the shelf, it is hardly a shock that they send it back quickly.

Well I'm still in Christmas mode. I'm in no rush to end it. It's overcast and a bit chilly here. Gona do what I've been doing since New Years and just relax, watch a few DVR recordings, listen to some Christmas music on Sounds of the Season, and just reflect on the season that just passed. The rest of the house has been cleaned up but my room is still ablaze with Christmas. I see a lot of homes around town still with decorations up, whether it's because of people just not wanting to bring them down or actually wanting to keep them up, I don't care, they're up. Plus Disneyland is running their holiday celebration until the 8th so I'll probably trek down there on Thurs just to immerse myself in full holiday cheer one last time. I'd pretty much be doing this all anyway without question since I usually consider the official holiday season to last through the Sunday after New Years, that is, when New Years Day lands on any other day but Sunday. The only thing that makes it slightly awkward this year is that New Years Day did fall on a Sunday, which makes it a bit of a stretch to continue everything through the following Sunday. I start my work week on Friday which will pretty much bring an end to it all since I won't have another day off until the following Wednesday. So I guess it works just as well that I can use time after work each day to take everything down. That seems like a good natural way to end the season for me where I'm not forcing myself to. So by my days off next week it'll all be over and done with, even though a part of me will have a little flame still going. But for now, I've got three days to just enjoy the last days of my holiday season!

Gotta admit though, I am feeling a bit of sadness that it's almost all over. I'm listening to that track called "When Things Seem Hopeless" from the soundtrack to A Christmas Story. Pretty much sums up the PCBs.

First day back in the office and first day back to the forums in a while. My mother in law passed away a couple of days before Thanksgiving so I've been busy helping my wife with her grief and administrative things. There's a lot left to do but we make more progress every day. I missed all of you and hope you all had the most amazing Christmas!!

Good afternoon ... its a rainy and dreary day here.. kind of fitting for my first day back to work after my Christmas Vacation. Not much else going on today ...

Have a great day!
I was thinking the same thing - dark, dreary, foggy here today. Seems fitting for the 1st day back.
Hope your day is going better than expected!

Happy New Year to you Holiday!! We kept everything running smoothly while you were gone.
I was happy to see that! :) I did get caught up on the last posts of 2016!

My new calendar arrived New Years Eve!! Just in time for Crowns post. Cant wait to make another for 2018 now..lol
Awesome! I'm sure its an awesome calendar! I just hung our family calendar & a puppy calendar when I came back from lunch today. Let the new year begin!

How about dealing with it as best as possible? :)
That's more like it! ;) I would say the word "bummed" would be how I was feeling last night & this morning. Can't believe it's all over! 11 days - poof, gone!! (but it sure was nice!)

Especially since you are off work until Friday, I would say enjoy to the fullest!!!! Enjoy Disney!
I will probably start to take mine down on Jan 9th. I refuse to do that on the weekend! ;)
Have a great day!

So sorry to hear about your Mother In Law FKB!! Sending thoughts & prayers your way! That's tough anytime of the year, but during the holidays seems very hard!!
Hope you all managed to have a nice holiday season!! Nice to see you back!
