Good morning all. Yes, indeed it is Superbowl Sunday. And an event that holds all but one of the top 20 most watched TV broadcasts in history (MASH farewell #9). And that is just the US. It has become a worldwide event that is talked about even overseas.
It is also the largest non-holiday gathering time for friends and family (just check the posts even here). I am one of those who prefers a smaller crowd, so I can actually enjoy the game. I love both my family and friends, but for me, there is a time to party and a time to concentrate.
So with food in one hand and my flags in the other, I will be all settled in my 6:30CST.
I hope everyone else is doing well and that whether you are going to watch the big game or not, have a wonderful Sunday.
Go Falcons!!!

As of this moment, 9 hours & 24 minutes until the beginning of the SuperBowl (not necessarily the kick-off).
Sorry Crown, but this one is on me.
Lots of food to be consumed and hoping the game goes into the forth quarter tight. Maybe even a first for the big game... OT!!!
Let's do it Falcons...

Quite understandable. Count away!
I'm hoping for a good, close exciting game too. (Just as long as the Falcons emerge on top at the end!)

Good evening,

I just want to let you all know that Merlin passed away this morning, we got home yesterday and he wasn't able to use his hind legs. We brought him to the vet and they gave him a shot that was suppose to alleviate the pain from the arthritis and give him use of his legs back. It didn't work, he couldn't move them. My wife brought him to the vet again this morning and after talking to the vet, it was decided that euthanasia was the best. He was suffering, and we couldn't bear to see him like that. He had a long wonderful life, he was a trooper, never complained even when he was in pain.
We miss him terribly, we had him since 6 months into our relationship, 17.5 years, he has been there for every step of our life together.

Goodnight, everyone
So sorry to hear the sad news. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Big event here also. Superbowl Sunday ranks up there with July4th weekend,Labor Day, Memorial Day and New Years with the road checks they have.

Goos Sunday afternoon! Some snow falling right now. Just woke up from a nap. We got the grocery shopping done this morning and now I'll do some laundry. Counting down to the Superbowl. Tonight we'll have some burgers (veggie for me), macaroni salad and nachos. Hope everyone is enjoying their day!
