...and you'll find out tomorrow that it gives you more of a workout than you'd expect!

My nieces only made it through 2 games before they were crying that they were tired.

So can not playing chess!

I haven't played chess since high school. I'd be in checkmate in no time.

That's what those bumpers are for!

We had the bumpers for my nieces but they retracted for the rest of us.

I only had one gutter ball. Just kept putting the ball on the far right side. My mom and aunt played in leagues when we were young. So we'd go almost every weekend for them to practice. I use to average in the low 200's. Today I was lucky to break 100.

Hope everyone watching is enjoying the game. Here is what we are currently munching on:

Looks good Martine. Already been through 5 legs, 2 thighs, 10 meatballs (8 wrapped in bacon), 2 plates of nachos and 3 colas. And it is only halftime...
Boy am I glad to be off tomorrow...
Go Falcons...

Well I am without a computer for a while my eldest daughter who's computer died has borrowed mine so she can job hunt. She is currently jobless as the one she was doing and it being only seasonal. So hoping she find something soon .
So I have to join you from my phone when I can.
Hope you all have a good evening and enjoy the Super Bowl

Sorry to hear that. Been there...losing Nitro in May after having him 11 and a half years was really hard. In some ways its harder than losing a person. I hope you remember all the great times and develop that bond again with another animal (I think you have said you have another/other cat/dog). It's so worth it.
My wife called me at work to let me know she made the decision. I had a feeling that was what it was going to be, I had said my goodbye and told him I loved him before I left in the morning. It was the one day I could not call out, even though my wife asked me to stay home to go with her. It was too busy with it being the first weekend of the month and Super Bowl eve.
I broke down and cried for 30 minutes at work thinking of all the great memories of Merlin.

Top of the Morning to you DoYouHear. Sleeping in? Nope, I was at the laundromat from 4:30 - 7:15. Time to do those pesky comforters, blankets, mattress pads, etc... those items too big for the home machine.
Went to church yesterday, so today, I'll get things sorted out, take a quick nap and then fix the SuperBowl feast.
The final menu... BBQ chicken legs & thighs, bacon wrapped meatballs (choice of BBQ or Marinara dip), seasoned ground beef, refried beans, french fries, tortilla chips (salsa dip), potato chips (french onion dip), popcorn and soda. Good thing I am off tomorrow...

Quite the menu!

As of this moment, 9 hours & 24 minutes until the beginning of the SuperBowl (not necessarily the kick-off).
Sorry Crown, but this one is on me.
Lots of food to be consumed and hoping the game goes into the forth quarter tight. Maybe even a first for the big game... OT!!!
Let's do it Falcons...

It was pretty recent that I realized that the Falcons logo forms an "F." I always just thought it was a falcon.

Good evening,

Just a quiet evening here, we did a run to purchase our travel items for Disney trip.
It is getting so close, I only have 8 more working days until vacation. Cannot wait.

Back to work in the morning.

Goodnight, everyone

Xmas- I wouldn't blame you if you walked around with headphones on while saying lalalalala until you go on vacation. The bragging will be over the top after this one.

I got a similar call at work about Nitro. It was very hard but I almost felt I had said goodbye to him earlier the day before he went to the hospital. Give it a little time and be thankful for all the great times you had. Heck, it's been 9 months and as I type this I have Rollins barking at me with his toy and the only reason I have him is because of Nitro. I only got him because of how Nitro made me feel about dogs.

Ouch! $35 for a catalog.
Thanks for sharing the free one.
Your welcome Xmas!! I heard at the Hallmark Store that this years catalog might be alot bigger due to them wanting to remake older ornaments that have been discontinued for along time. The 35.00 for the Radko is alot of money..but I will say its the nicest looking and best quality catalog you will ever touch.

Good Morning, New-Week Milestone Watchers!

And if you have been watching closely, you are fully aware that the next elusive marker is just SIX days away -- less than HALF A WEEK off!

Days to the Season: 280
Days to Christmas Day: 322

And which one of our Milestone markers is now less than a week ahead?
Well, incredible though it may seem, it's the ONE QUARTER point to the Season!
(Yup. The chart don't lie. Check it out!)

Warmer yesterday.
Warmer still today.
Warmer yet for tomorrow.
(The is the kind of trend I really like at this time of the year!)
This brand new week has started off sunny at a still chilly 36 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Friends!

GM All...wow what a game last night!! My husband is a huge Pats fan so needless to say he was very happy!
I am working today and my oldest is home with the stomach bug...ugh!
Hope you all have a great day!!

Thanks Crown! Hope you enjoyed that great game last night!

Morning MMC! That was some Superbowl last night. I have to give credit where it's due. Brady was amazing coming back in that game. 5 rings no other QB has that many. We saw history last night in several ways. Well now that the football season is over what's next? Oh the next milestone next Sunday! That will help out with the 1st Sunday without football since Labor Day. I took today off so I'm trying to take advantage of that by getting a lot of little things done so that for the next 4 days that I work it's less to do after work.
Have a great Monday post Superbowl!
