That's a great idea! Or even without buying a frame, you can set up a "slideshow" on your computer desktop or tablet.
I have one that will hold over 2k pics. It has a sd card slot and you can also use a thumb drive with it. Some now have a wifi addition and it will pull pics from your network or cloud. I know you want to get a ac one and not the battery operated unless you like replacing batteries. They are very cheap now to buy.

We have one nearly identical to that NcGunney. It's called a "dough blender".
(Also called a "pie crust mixer", "pie crust flaker" or "pastry blender".)

Ours was made by Ekco, which is still in business.
Here is a link to their site, where they still sell this item!

Have had ours for over 50 years and cannot recall it ever being used!
(Ours has 5 blades instead of 6.)

I hope you do. And from past experience I have found the more I worried about a situation the less of a "situation" it turned out to be and then I look back on it shaking my head at the time I wasted worrying lol. Bring on spring...I've had enough of snow till December!
Me too. They have upped the forecast to 12 to 18 inches. Wet, heavy snow that could cause power outages. Ugh. A local forecaster is disagreeing with the NWS snow totals, though.

Anybody know the real name of this? I inherited one from my grandma and its getting weak now because its ancient. I only use it for cutting butter into flour.

I think it's called a pastry blender. You use it to "cut" shortening into flour when you're making pie crust dough and such. They make them today, but the wires are shaped more like blades.

Good Saturday afternoon, Christmas friends!

I had a super busy Friday and Saturday, but I'm finally home, freshly bathed and squeaky clean. Ahh! Nancy's calling in some take-out, and I have a couple shows on the DVR I want to catch up on.

My brother found the deal of the century on some trap/skeet throwers at an auction, and called me this morning to go in with him on the purchase. We picked them up, and they are awesome! I love trap shooting, so this was a worthwhile investment for me.

I hope y'all have a great evening!

Went to just look at furniture today. Ended up buying a couch, 2 recliners, and 2 end tables. So much for painting first. Who wants to come help me get rid of the old stuff tomorrow?

Sweet!!! In my 5 years working the rifle range at the boy scout camp, I only got to try skeet shooting a couple of times. I've always wanted to give it another go.

Good evening,

A very busy day at work with the anticipation of another big snowstorm moving in tomorrow. As of now 8-12 inches are expected.
With all of this snow, it really makes me Christmas, I always wish my tree was up and my outdoor lights were still on.

I am struggling to stay awake at this point, I have a day off tomorrow, we start to pack!

Goodnight, everyone

I was telling Gunny that with the snow this week I wish we could bottle it up and throw it out around December 20th when we're craving it and probably bare ground as we approach Christmas!

Good Sunday morning! A day off and lots of snow predicted starting this afternoon, so we'll go grocery shopping early this morning and then do some laundry, and then catch up on the dvr. OK my husband just tried to show me a Youtube video of peacock spiders "playing" We wish you a merry Christmas. I have a real fear of spiders in any form. But I have a real love of Christmas music. I must say the fear of spiders won. Have a great day everyone!

Morning MMC! We have some snow & ice falling right now. Not very nice out but they say we should have just some rain later. Not terrible and at least it's a Sunday so I don't have to go anywhere till later today when I go to my Uncle's for dinner (and he's only a few blocks away). Anyway, enjoy this Sunday another week almost in the books. Valentine's Day and President's Day coming up in the next week or so. I'll wait till after that to think about spring I guess :). Have a great day!

Thxs Merry. Thats all I use mine for is doughs and crusts. I searched Amazon and all I could find were the ones that looked like blades. I cant imagine there is much of a difference in them with the blade and my wire type. My inherited one has a date on the side of 1959 so I doubt the company is still in business...lol

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Friends of the Holidays!

And we have arrived.
Yes, indeed.
Milestone marker number two!

Days to the Season: 274
Days to Christmas Day: 316

TODAY, Guys. ONE QUARTER of the voyage to Christmas Season 2017 is now behind us.
And it was a pretty fast quarter now, wasn't it?
Next up? Well.......let's take a breather and wait until tomorrow to find out.
(Unless you are eager and want to check our handy-dandy Milestone marker chart.)

Fantastic weather here yesterday (in sharp contrast to what is being experienced in the northeast)!
We had lots of sun, little to no wind, temps into the mid 70's and no rain whatsoever.
Even warmer weather is predicted for today (dare I say it could be TOO hot?) before more seasonable conditions return for tomorrow.
Currently, it is 63 degrees here in the capital city of North Carolina.
The sun is shining and the birds are singing. Come on down!

Have a Super Sunday and a Merry Milestone Day, Folks!
Enjoy the rest of your Weekend.

Careful Made....skeet is like golf. It can become a very addictive hobby. One day your mowing the yard the next your prowling Wal Marts for cases of shells on sale..lol
