Simply amazing weekend.

Simply amazing.

We have been shopping, we have played outside, I got to make a few things....it was just beautiful. Right now, we are trying to get both the girls fed, bathed, and ready for bed so that we can watch Walking Dead tonight.

A busy weekend for me for sure. I worked all day yesterday and today. Tomorrow I am subbing and hendrix to CVS for more inventory prep. Tues and Wed will be spent at CVS also to prepare for inventory. Thursday will be my next day off and we will be signing Carolina up for preschool that day for the fall

We had just enough snow on the ground this past Christmas for me to call it a white Christmas. Probably not what the meteorologists consider it though.

TODAY, Guys. ONE QUARTER of the voyage to Christmas Season 2017 is now behind us.
And it was a pretty fast quarter now, wasn't it?

Fantastic weather here yesterday (in sharp contrast to what is being experienced in the northeast)!
We had lots of sun, little to no wind, temps into the mid 70's and no rain whatsoever.
Even warmer weather is predicted for today (dare I say it could be TOO hot?) before more seasonable conditions return for tomorrow.
Currently, it is 63 degrees here in the capital city of North Carolina.
The sun is shining and the birds are singing. Come on down!

A snowy night here, it has been snowing since 10am and it is supposed to go through early tomorrow afternoon. School already has 2 hour delay.
Just watched my Boston Bruins win tonight's game, they have looked pretty good recently.
We are about 50% packed, 3 more working days, 5 days total. :jump

CIJ news can be anywhere from march to may. Hopefully earlier this year though.
 
Morning MMC! Happy New Week. It was a pretty good weekend and not overly stressful which was nice. Enjoyed the evening at my Uncle's. Back to normal this week with a full week of work before another great weekend (I hope). Hope everyone has a good Monday. It's already almost mid-February! Before we know it, spring won't be too far away. Have a good day!

Well, we are now a day post-Milestone and a day into the SECOND quarter of our sojurn back to the Christmas Season, the never-ending destination that just keeps coming back.
But there are other Milestones. More about that, presently.

First, we have today's numbers to consider:
Days to the Season: 273
Days to Christmas Day: 315

Now, as for Milestone marker number three, we can tell from our handy Milestone marker chart, located at post number one, that our next point of interest is the 300-Day Christmas Day Window which, incredibly, will arrive TWO WEEKS FROM TOMORROW!
(Can you believe that in just 15 days BOTH of our counts will be down into the 200's? Just can't be. This is only February, for heaven's sake!)


A truly Super Sunday was had here yesterday, on the heels of a truly Sensational Saturday, with near unheard of fantastically warm weather.
Today will be a different story, as Mother Nature asserts herself once again, making her presence known.
Right now, she has decreed that 46 degrees will be our starting temperature here in the heart of North Carolina, and that our high today will be 25 degrees cooler than yesterday's 83 degrees.

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

It's a beautiful day! It's a little cooler today, too, thank goodness. It's been a little over 80°F all weekend, and it's supposed to be in the 70's this week. I like 80's, but not in February!

Nancy and I had corndogs with a side of Walking Dead last night, and it didn't agree with me. I dreamed fitfully all night. I was either chasing someone, or someone was chasing me. I'm glad to be at work so I can get some rest!

Thxs Crown!! I woke up to 23° and its now hovering at 25°. Snow overnight and a bit more coming before noon.
 
The snow is winding up here, but it's still a heavy, wet, sticky, slippery mess. My office is having everyone work from home today. Mr. is working from home, too. Our friend with the plow hasn't been by in several hours, so we may be shoveling a little later. Hope everyone's Monday is more pleasant!
 
Good Morning, MMC!!! It should be a sunny nice day with a high in the mid 40's. I know I said I was going to bed last night, but I was actually up until after 3am taking down the ceiling fan in the kitchen and putting a new one up. I really should have waited until this morning because it fought me every step of the way. I was riding high on a 1 liter bottle of mountain dew though. Oh well. At least it's done. Not to much going on today. Just need to clean up the mess in the kitchen and then sit back and wait until the furniture is delivered this afternoon. It should be quite the show watching them wrangle the 250 pound sofa into my apartment. I hope everyone is having a great day!!!!

My last fan was the same way. I knew when it fought me coming out of the box it was going to be a rough one.
We got a recliner sofa last year and of course I didnt have it delivered. That thing has the weight of a VW Beetle and it wouldnt fit through the door. We had to remove the framework underneath, take the screen door off and it barely went through. All that to save on the 35.00 delivery charge..never again..lol
