Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I had a VERY long day yesterday. Elizabeth's trio sang at the state literary competition after placing in the regional competition. They placed second in the state, but there is some dispute about some scoring mix-up, so they move up to tied with first. The meet was held at a university about 3 hours from home, so we were there all day and got home around 9:30 last night.

And the night before, Nancy tripped over Lulu's "child gate" and made such clamor that it woke me from a sound sleep. I didn't sleep after that, so the trip to the meet was a LONG, LONG day LOL.

Business as usual, today. I hope y'all have a great day! :D

True story...when I was still doing Loss Prevention at Wally World I went outside every night on lunch. I always had a Dew at the picnic tables and we had some hanging pots on the tables, I always dumped my Dew in the basket at my table. It stayed green and thrived all year..I looked it up and it says it has something to do with the phosphates in the Dew. I am sure other sodas would do the same thing, it just said that Dew had the highest amounts of it.

Those kids gates are a killer on the feet. We have 2 wooden you step over and a metal walk through. I have tripped over em, fell over em. And it always seems you hit the same spot on the top of your foot.
