Good evening. I haven't been on here in SO long ... since my last day at work before Christmas vacation. I popped in here because for some reason the thought of Christmas in July just popped into my head!

Have a great rest of the day!

Morning MMC! 1 week till Mother's Day so we decided yesterday to get my mom an ice cream cake and a gift card for her hair salon. Probably going to get the gift card today. Going to my Uncle's later this afternoon and having dinner there. Took Rollins to 2 parks yesterday and my friend wanted to meet up with us and got to meet him. Overall the weather was nice yesterday just cooler than normal. Already a week into May...enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Good Morning!

The second half of our Weekend is just begining.
But we are nearing the end of our count to the HALF WAY Milestone marker to Christmas Season 2017!

Today's data release:
Days to the Season: 190
Days to Christmas Day: 232

How close are we to the half-way point?
Well, is 8 days close enough for you? Just a day over ONE WEEK?
(That's close enough for me!)

Coolish yesterday and rather cloudy, with the threat of rain but nothing more than a brief sprinkle actually fell.
Today should be sunny and a bit warmer, reaching close to 70.
We have started off here at a chilly-for-May 51 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday, Everyone!

Thanks Crown! At least somebody has some dry weather on the east coast!

Morning, everyone. Just wanted to drop in and say hi! Hope everyone is well.

We have a couple of graduation events today that are school related, so I will be working most of the day. Things get really busy for me the last few weeks of May. Next week, things will be relatively calm, but then all @#@~ breaks loose until May 31. Going to enjoy a somewhat calm week and nice weather. Y'all have a good day. Hope to check back in this evening before bed!

Good Morning ... another damp, overcast chilly day. The sun was out this morning but the clouds moved back in. Made cinnamon rolls morning and roasting a turkey breast this afternoon ... feels more like fall then spring :)

Hope everyone has a great day

So I made it back here two days in a row. Snow in May sounds good to me! But I guess I might not feel that way if I had to deal with it! How do you like it, NcGunny?

Everyone, I hope you have a great week. Can't believe we're almost HALFWAY there! Wow!

Good Monday morning to the entire MMC community. Another long week filled to the brim with work & chores (plus a little bit of sleep in between). Trying to get everything done last week and in these first couple of days and then I am taking Connie (my wife and better half) to Idaho and visit with her parents for a week. I know it can be tough on her realizing that not only are they a few states away, but both are in their mid eighties. I try to make this trip every year, to make sure she does not feel regret about not visiting when the unfortunate time will arrive. But we will dwell on that when the time comes, for now we can celebrate being together. The lawn is starting to come along, but I will wait to reseed till I get back to ensure it is watered correctly. I do have to re-pot some Asian Lilies. I am not much of a gardener and got "one" originally so I would not have to plant them every year. I was not aware that they had babies and soon the one plant would grow into ten plants. Oh well.
Church visits are going well. It is interesting to see how varied the structure (for lack of a better word) is for each service in the individual churches. The one thing that I have taken note of is how many prefer their music in a contemporary style, with electric guitars, organs and drums. I don't really mind the style too much. It does have a negative effect on me when it resembles a rock concert and my ears are ringing from the volume (this has only happened on two occasions thus far). However, the sermons for the most part have been very good and demonstrates the unity that is still deep inside each member of the Christian Community. Still a long way to go before the year ends and many more Houses of Worship to visit.
Other than that, everything here is going fairly well. Hopefully after this little trip, things will quiet down a hair and I can find time to get back online more often. I do miss our daily greetings, updates and happenings in the lives of our group.
Have a Magical Monday all...

Morning MMC! Mother's Day Week has begun. I have a long day because I have work and then my final exam. The good thing is after today I won't be taking a class until the day after Labor Day. It's chilly here as in I have had to close more windows than open them. Looks like a cool week again. It's been a strange spring. Have a great Monday!

It's a good thing you're doing making that yearly trip to your in-laws. I live close to my father and could not imagine being so far away. Hope you enjoy your week there and safe travels.

Here too we closed the windows this morning. There's even a chance of wet snow this a.m. Much success on your final exam tonight.
