Its kind of a racket now Holiday. Next time you go in a store,go into the toy section and look at the price of model cars. 20+ dollars for one now. Those old Falcon kits were the biggest and best made any company ever produced. If they remade them today that big, just the licensing cost from Disney would make it around 150.00 per kit before you even produced a product. Then the kit would be around 400.00..so final retail would be close to 600.00 per Falcon. Disney does weird marketing so they wouldnt be available to the U.S. because of another U.S. company. So just like other merchandise we are forced to buy from Japanese stores and they ship it to us in discretely wrapped packaging..lol...and thats a true story.
Imagine that...

Good Morning, Folks.

Single Digits from tomorrow, Guys!
It's the truth.
(The proof in a moment.)

Our numbers:
Days to the Season: 192
Days to Christmas Day: 234

And our proof? Well, as we all know by now, our "bible" is the Coundown chart, and it makes it quite clear that the HALF WAY marker to Christmas Season 2017 will be here on May 15, SINGLE DIGITS from tomorrow!
(Wowzerinos!!)

A short rain fell late yesterday afternoon to slightly mar an otherwise near perfect day, with moderate temps and light breezes. More rain fell overnight.
We are at 66 degrees here right now, bound for a high in the upper 70's, again with a pretty good chance of rain.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Fantastic Friends.
And may your Weekend start beautifully this afternoon!
Happy Cinco de Mayo....have a good weekend crown!

Good Friday morning everyone and Happy Cinco de Mayo and Revenge of the Fifth day (yes I'm a Star Wars geek). We had one day of sunshine yesterday and now it's back to rain until Tuesday. Lots of flooding and getting worse in a lot of areas. I usually am not affected by weather but this is getting depressing. I have a day off, time for some housecleaning and grocery shopping. Have a fantastic day everyone!
This weather has been crazy!! I don't mind a couple days of warm rain, but this cold, windy, pelting rain is getting old!!! Just makes me want to curl up in a blanket!!
Enjoy your day off!!!

Happy Friday everyone!! Definitely a rainy day here today and my daughter is having 2 friends sleepover tonight. Otherwise we have a pretty quiet weekend. Hope you all have a great day!
Hope the girls have fun!!! Enjoy your weekend!!! Don't forget to celebrate Cinco de Mayo - you may need a margarita tonight! ;) :P

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's super busy here, so I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Well, thankfully it's quitting time!! We're going to run Emma home & do some shopping this afternoon, Cinco de Mayo party tonight. Tomorrow we have our friends sons wedding, & Sunday is my Goddaughters 1st Communion. It's going to be a busy one. Hope the weather improves!! xx

Everyone, have a safe & fun filled weekend!!

Morning MMC! Hope everyone has a good 1st weekend of May. Looks like everything is wet outside. We've had a good amount of rain this spring. Temps are below average today and will continue to be that way for quite some time. Local weatherman said that we may not see really warm weather till after May 20th! That's another 2 weeks from now still. Maybe by Memorial Day it will turn and feel like summer. Just some errands to do today like a normal Saturday. But it's Saturday so that's a good thing. Have a good one!

Good Morning, Weekenders!
(And isn't it nice to be once again at the week's end?)

This is nice, too. Real nice!
Days to the Season: 191
Days to Christmas Day: 233

And what's even nicer?
Well, the fact that we have now declined to just 9 measly days until a truly major Milestone marker arrives, that marker being the HALF WAY point to our long-awaited and much coveted Christmas Season!
(Yes, Folks. SINGLE DIGITS are here!)
May 15. Mark your calendars.

Well, we got over an inch of rain here in the early hours of the morning yesterday.
Otherwise, it was real nice, with unbelievably low humidity.
(We could have absorbed several more degrees of heat and still have been comfortable, the air was that dry!)
We have had a brief rain this morning but otherwise, today should be precipitation free, and it has commenced here in the capital city at 56 degrees.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Fellow Travelers!
