Awful news in Las Vegas this morning; sending prayers for all those affected, bless their hearts. Isn't that @snowflake22 's previous home? I hope none of her friends were hurt.

In brighter news, my daughter was a Junior Class Representative at the Homecoming game at her school Friday night. It rained a bit, but I held an umbrella for her as I escorted my beautiful daughter out onto the field. I was so proud!

Then we had Homecoming at Church Sunday morning, with an AWESOME lunch afterwards!

Happy Monday and back to the grind.

So awful to hear about Vegas...prayers for all those people and their families.

Not up to much today just work..I am making Chicken Burrito bowls in the crockpot for dinner.

I don't mean that I just brush it off but I guess what I mean is that many years ago if I turned the t.v. on and heard this it would shock me so much and now it doesn't...it saddens me beyond belief and as CG said it makes me feel helpless but I do not feel any of us should ever accept this as being normal and just moving on from it.

I hope you all had a nice weekend. We did - just went too fast, as always. It was such a nice surprise to see my brother again! My nieces bridal shower was good too. It was fun for a shower! ;) We tried to watch the Buckeyes outside but we gave up. It was SO cold - that wind!! And the game was a blow out. Lucy had a fun weekend with all her lake friends & Jackson. I think my brother filled his phone with Lucy pictures. HA!

Now, back to reality!! Everyone, have a great day!!

You know this unfortunately has always happened. Its just that now it is
reported more than it used to be by the media. I will never understand how people get to this point...

Yep. In a scant 5 days, we will commence the HOME STRETCH run to Christmas Season 2017, having passed the 90 percent point.
(Is it starting to seem like the year is just slipping away through our fingers, Guys?)


Our stupendous weather continues. In fact, it's almost too cool as we enter the first day of October, the second 'ber month.
But after all the heat and humidity, we will take it!
Currenty, we awaken to a rather coolish 56 degrees, here.

Come on now...Getting excited about the oh - so - near Christmas season, then meowling about the evaporating year puts a real damper on the joy meter.

Always a fun time when Bill comes home! ♥ Lucy is a piece of work. She's something else! She's a cute little butterball! :) She goes to the vet Saturday, I'm curious to hear what she weighs now!
