Mr. is the same. Tea is strictly medicine to him. No sugar, no milk, no honey, no lemon ... just tea. But any warm beverage will help to soothe a cold.

Not at all I appreciate the suggestion. I will probably try a cup later cause I know it will help. Does he like coffee?

LOL! I wish I liked tea. I just can't do it! I have tried, many times! I really like green tea, or pure leaf tea - cold & sweetened!

Oddly enough I LOVE iced tea. But just this hot tea stuff just doesn't jive with me. But I'm drinking it now thanks to Merry's suggestion and a few sips and I already can feel a little better.

Continued nice temperature wise, although it was cloudy with a touch of rain late yesterday afternoon.
I'm looking for a clear day today with continued moderate temperatures.
It is currently a balmy 62 degrees here in our little neck of the MMC woods.

It was a crazy day here, our youngest is going through some problems, I really shouldn't go through them here since we are having trouble understanding them ourselves. If you can, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I am taking tomorrow off in case he needs me to be home for him.
I really don't have much else to report tonight after the stress of the day.

Morning MMC! I'm hoping today I can make it through with my cold/cough. Not feeling great at all but I'm pushing through to go to work. I don't think that I have a fever which is good. If I do it would be a small one. I'm just having my cereal here and relaxing before getting ready. Hope everyone is having a good Wednesday. We still have some lights around here but most of them are off now. But the few that are left are fun to watch! Have a great day!

Just wanted to pop in quick to say hello. First time I'm posting since Saturday. Life has been hectic. Lots of doctor appointments lately. Been a stressful week so far. Would you please send up a prayer for my youngest. We are waiting for biopsy results, should have them by the end of the week. Trying to stay calm for her but I'm a nervous wreck. I'm very upset that she has to deal with something like this already, she's only 20 years old.
I have an appointment this morning with my general physician for a physical and to go over blood work results. I was thinking about canceling but I guess I'll go. Been struggling with fatigue and some other symptoms. My issues seem irrelevant right now. I'm just concerned about my daughter.
I hope things eventually slow down so that I'm able to spend more time here. I try to read the countdown posts as often as I can so I keep up with what's going on, everyone is always in my thoughts <3

Happy Pines Day!! Pretty dreary day out there and just working away.
My daughter has dance tonight and should be a quiet night. I have noticed a few lights that are not on anymore but my immediate neighbors and a few people in my street still have them on. Also, one house is decorated in red hearts and red lights. Looks very pretty. Hope you all have a great day.

I've never tried warm milk. Doesn't sound appealing to me. Maybe some day! I usually don't have a problem falling asleep, but if I ever do I'll keep that in mind!

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day!

I have a Pines Day Funny to start your day. 1st a little back story. Santa in this video is my 9 yo great nephew. He played Santa in his school play. The little girl is my great niece (his cousin) She just turned 1 on Dec. 20th & she has never seen Santa. He didn't think another Christmas should go by w/o her meeting Santa so he wanted to dress up for her. The rest is history.... (maybe it's funnier to me b/c I know their personalities, but I just can't stop laughing at this!!

) The videographer is Santa's little brother!
