Headlights are automatic? What will they think of next... lol. I always turn mine on and off, ever since the day my wife's car did not extinguish them and she wound up with a dead battery. But then, as sad as it may sound, new age technology has never really impressed me. Just something else to go wrong and carries a very high price tag to fix.
Enjoy your vehicle and have a fun Saturday...

Lol!!! It's basically a dusk to dawn sensor on the dash that kicks them on and off when it gets dark.

I agree about being expensive to fix. My 98 Sonoma had manual door locks and windows and it didn't bug me a bit.

Thank you so much ~
All is well! The doctor didn't even have to do the biopsy. Apparently there is a portion of the esophagus that can mimic a thyroid lesion. The second sonogram showed that everything is normal. I'm so relieved. Thanks again for the prayers, you guys are the best <3
Wonderful news!!

@Bradmac you probably already know and have mentioned this, so forgive me. But I thought of you yesterday. I was at the library and saw two books called "The 50 Year Mission" about the history of Star Trek. Had one that covered the first twenty-five years, then a second volume covering the rest. Have you read these?
I haven't read them! I'll try to talk Nancy into a stop at Book-a-Million today, thanks!

Good Saturday morning, Christmas friends!

We're about to head out to take Elizabeth to dance class. I plan to stop at a coffee shop for a cuppa joe. It is chilly outside today!

I hope y'all have a great day!:D

Howdy, Pardners!

You ready to hit the trail runnin' this mornin' with a heapin' helpin' of the daily count?
Well, hold on to yer horses, here we go!

Days to the Season: 282
Days to Christmas Day: 324

And git yer ropes ready, 'cuz we's ready to lasso us another one of them Milestone markers!
Up ahead, over that thar ridge, is the ONE QUARTER horse ready to be roped, broke and rode. And he's only 'bout an EIGHT days ride up ahead.
Yee Haw! Let's git goin'!

The weather? Well, it has taken the predicted cold turn and we never left the low 40's yesterday.
This morning has started off cold at 29 degrees and we again will not see 50 or above all day.
(Now, tomorrow is a different story and a nice warming trend should be in place by then.)

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everybody.
And y'all be sure and have a rootin' tootin' hootin' hollerin' great Weekend. OK?
Thanks Crown! Get ready for the Superbowl!

Morning HMG. High of 34? Must be nice to be in the warm weather portion of the country... lol. Ours will be a high of 24 (which is also where it currently is). Been up since just before 4AM. Finishing up my half pot of coffee and getting a few things done before I really begin my day. I will make a last scan to see if I have everything I need for tomorrow and if I do, then church service will be the only thing I go out for today. The wife and I have a few TV shows we enjoy together and this seems like a good day to catch up on them. Have fun on your date and a nice weekend...

Happy Saturday All...just relaxing today. My kids got invited to sleepovers so my husband and I are going out for dinner. I brought home my daughter's friend yesterday and 2 houses were still all lit up. Looked so pretty!
Hope you all have a great evening!

Evening all!
Just getting over the stomach virus, so i was doing a lot of channel surfing today ... Santa Clause 3 was on, which i thought was pretty cool! I've never seen it, and only got to watch a few minutes of it ... but it was a nice jolt of holiday happiness! I hope all is well with this Christmas crew.

Glad to hear that.

Can't believe I haven't noticed, but a house a couple of streets over still has their wreath up and lit at night. Gotta say that it brought a smile to my face.

Saw on Facebook where someone put there was 8 more months until Christmas stuff was in stores....thought they must not have a Hobby Lobby in their area!

Big day tomorrow. Got something put in the crockpot and it is already cooking. Gonna smell great in the morning. Should be ready just in time of the big game tomorrow. Hope y'all have a great night of rest and see you tomorrow!

Good evening,

I just want to let you all know that Merlin passed away this morning, we got home yesterday and he wasn't able to use his hind legs. We brought him to the vet and they gave him a shot that was suppose to alleviate the pain from the arthritis and give him use of his legs back. It didn't work, he couldn't move them. My wife brought him to the vet again this morning and after talking to the vet, it was decided that euthanasia was the best. He was suffering, and we couldn't bear to see him like that. He had a long wonderful life, he was a trooper, never complained even when he was in pain.
We miss him terribly, we had him since 6 months into our relationship, 17.5 years, he has been there for every step of our life together.

Goodnight, everyone
