Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good evening,

It was a snow day here for us as well, I got up to go to work and the weather forecast the snow kept going up and up. I ended up calling out due to weather even though I didn't want to. It was a good thing, we got 18 inches of snow here, cars were stuck on my street because the plows could not keep up. That amount of snow fell between 6am this morning until 4pm! Fast and furious flakes! I will be going to work no matter what tomorrow, it has been a lost week for me.
One more week until vacation, we are really getting excited now.

Morning! Well everyone hopefully survived the snowstorm. We got 12 inches of snow Thursday. How many days till spring? Actually today is the 10th of February and usually around now I start counting the days till March. I don't want to rush time but to me when we get close to mid February its similar to mid August. I'm over winter and I'm ready for spring just like in mid August I'm getting over the summer heat and ready for the Bers! Well today I'm working. This has been a lost week I'm so far behind losing 2 days this week. Oh well the next several weeks should be 5 day weeks as hopefully we won't see any major storms like that again. Hope everyone is ready for a weekend!

Good Friday morning! A lot of you had to stay home to avoid that huge snowstorm, that's a good thing, being safe is the most important thing. We might get a lot of snow on Sunday but the forecast is still unsure. One thing's for sure, it is VERY cold today, currently -27°C (-16°F). I have the day off, I have to do some grocery shopping and settle on what desserts I'll make for our bake sale at work. Have a great day everyone!

Yesterday did indeed take the predicted cold turn. Not only that, but it was quite windy as well. A rather unpleasant combination!
Today has started out sunny but rather chattery at 31 degrees but our high should be warmer, with really nice weather forecast for the weekend.

Happy Friday!
We ended up with about 15 inches of snow, it's so pretty out there. We're currently at 20 degrees so the roads are definitely icy. Thankfully classes are cancelled again for my two youngest. My oldest has to be at work in a little bit but she doesn't have to drive too far, she'll be fine. I have to head to the hospital later this morning, my father has to have his difibrillator replaced. He'll just have to stay over night so they can monitor him. He will be released tomorrow if all is well. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day. Be safe!

Roads are fairly clear here, so it's a back-to-normal Friday here. Some schools are closed, others are open. We got about a foot of snow yesterday.

Merry Friday!! We ended up with about 15" too. My kids have another day off today so they are just watching movies. They are watching the Sandlot now...always a good one. We are not up too much this weekend just a basketball game for my daughter. Hope you all have a great day!!

My mom got called at 430 this am saying they had no school and it was still raining at that point. It didn't start snowing here til like 730 and it only amounted to about 2 inches. We were originally in the 4 to 6 in range. She loses the Friday before Presidents Day since that was originally a day off. Carolina and I played outside for about an hour She had a lot of fun. I ran my errands this afternoon since roads had absolutely nothing on them.

I hope everyone who has snow stays safe.

We were originally on the 3 to 5 / 4 to 8 inch range depending on what news channel you watched. Sun was out by noon but man those windy were brutal. I have heard of a few schools north of me that are also changing the scheduled Friday off for Presidents weekend to a full school day.

I just finished making Rice Krispie hearts for a bake sale at work. Tomorrow I'll make red-and-pink Smarties (similar to M&Ms) cookies and Sunday I'll make chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream. It's Valentine's Day themed, you can never have enough chocolate for Valentine's Day

That's what we were on too. We are a little north of Hammonton by like 10 miles so we thought we would get a lot. The rain woke me up at 6 and by that point my mom's school had already called and cancelled

Quiet day here, I was shocked at how few posts there were.
Finally went back to work, the weather kept my deliveries from getting to me, so I was running out of things.
More snow coming tonight, 1-3 more inches, with 4+ coming on Sunday. Winter was just came late this year.
