Girl Scout cookies delivered today. I now have heartburn of the century from thin mints.

Those are my faves. If you ever have a hankering for Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies any other time of year, you can always get Keebler Grasshopper cookies. They are made by the same company, and the main difference is Thin Mints are dark chocolate, Grasshoppers are milk chocolate. (Dark chocolate is better imo)

Happy Friday MMC! TGIF. Hope everyone is excited for the weekend. Just going to work and then come home to hopefully receive my Nintendo Switch. I'm going to have pizza tonight. In a scant TWELVE days, we will be ONE-THIRD of the way back to our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season.
Nearly down to SINGLE DIGITS, already!

Rather chilly yesterday. Not really because of the temperatures (50's) but because of the contrast to recent days where we have been spoiled with highs in the 70's and even the low 80's.
A small dose or reality can therefore be beneficial. (A SMALL dose, mind you. Are you listening, Mother Nature?)
Currently, we observe 38 degrees here on our back door thermometer.

I bought a few boxes of the Smores this year to try em out.
They are just so/so imho. Is it just me or does it seem like the cookie packages got smaller a few years ago?

Good morning MMC! TGIF!!!!

Busy weekend ahead. I'm staying with Mom from this afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Tomorrow we have my nieces (My Goddaughters) bridal shower. I was in charge of getting presents from the entire family for both shower & wedding (since I'm the Godmother ) I got them all wrapped last night - four rolls of wrapping paper later... LOL! Hope they all fit in my vehicle! After the shower some of us girls are doing wine & canvas painting. THAT will be interesting!!! LOL! Sunday we are having a belated birthday brunch for Mom at her house. I have to make cinnamon rolls & sausage bread. It's going to be an interesting weekend!

Hello Everyone, I was just thinking today a little about where we are at in the countdown. At midnight tonight we will hit exactly halfway to September 1!. While September doesn't complete the journey, I think having that date ready for it's downward slide down the mountain and past it's halfway point is a pretty cool feeling. Really good to have January and February in the rear view mirror. I think with March here it is much easier to look ahead to the better times of the new year. Have a great evening!

Good Thursday evening! After a relatively easy start to the week, I worked 11 hours today and will work another 12h tomorrow to get everything done. Very much looking forward to the weekend. Hope everyone is enjoying a great evening!

It is not much of a change, just 30 minutes earlier, so it will be better getting out a little bit earlier. Can't complain.

Thank you both. We scheduled the surgery on the 15th of March. I had all four of mine taken out and they were also impacted, way back in the 80's! I'm praying it won't be too bad and she'll have a speedy recovery. I'll keep you posted.

Hope the surgery goes well! That's a big day!! 1/3 way back to the season & our 20th wedding anniversary!!
