Good afternoon ... dreary and rainy day today .. this morning was damp and chilly and it reminded me of fall. I still have some pumpkin spice coffee at home, maybe I will make a pot tonight or tomorrow We had an unexpected house guest for the past few days. I enjoy having the extended family together but will be glad to have thing back to normal at home.

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!!! What a dreary ol Tuesday. It was POURING down rain when our alarm clocks went off this morning. Makes it so hard to get out of bed! LOL!

Just work for me today. Gracie has her appointment with the vet to be tested again this afternoon, so please keep her in your prayers. Always makes me nervous. She's also getting her annual vaccinations, etc too. Big day for her!

Still a moment or two of morning left here in SD, so good Morning Minta. The sun is coming out here and what little snow we got last night is nearly all disappeared. No flavored coffee here, but I do keep around some French Vanilla powdered creamer and there is always hot chocolate powder if it needs a little flavoring. I can appreciate the unexpected visitors. It's always nice to see them and catch up, but you also have to redo the normal schedule to accommodate them. The age old theory of advantage and disadvantage...

Good "early" Tuesday morning my friends. Starting it off right with coffee, My Merry Christmas and Kringle Radio. A have a much needed haircut scheduled for 8AM this morning and yes, it is at an "old fashioned" barber shop. It even has the old style barber pole spinning right out front. I know it is a me thing, but I just can't bring myself to go to a place where a portion of the name has the word stylist in it. Nothing against those who do, I simply cannot.
There are somethings from my past I honestly do not want to let go. Christmas being number one of course. We got a light amount of snow overnight, but due to the heated ground, it is on the lawn, but not the sidewalks or roads. Not much else going on today and I will try to hit the sack around 1PM so I will be prepared for another week of making sure the shelves are filled for our customers.

DK was the first game I ever played and that's where Mario actually started as a character in (before he took over Nintendo basically). You plan on waiting till Christmas or getting them one before that in the spring/summer?

It will probably be a Christmas gift, but with the boys they will probably change their minds a hundred times from now til then on what they want.

Morning MMC! Already heading into mid-week. Been a fast busy 2 days so far. Make it 3 today I am sure. Midterm went fine...even though i have not been putting enough time into the class my math skills and last minute preparation was enough to do pretty good I think on it. Other than that just gearing up for another day at work and then a friend may come for dinner this evening. Have a great Wednesday!

Mother Nature continues to smile on us here in North Carolina, and we are being rewarded with just about the best possible weather we could expect for early March.
Everything is in perfect sync -- the temperature, the light wind, the ample sun and the lack of precipitation. It just doesn't get any better than this.
Will we get spoiled? (A moot question. We already are.)
Currently, we see that this March 8th has commenced here at 54 degrees.

Happy Pines Day!
I'm heading out soon, Maggie has a groomer appointment. Her cough is pretty bad right now so I may stay there while they groom her. They are a really cute doggy boutique in addition to the grooming services so I'll do some shopping while I wait. She's usually finished in about an hour. I have a couple of errands to run later today and then I'll be working on my daily chores. That's about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day.

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day! WOOT!

I brought Gracie to the vet yesterday! She is such a trooper! She lets them do anything to her! Poor girl! Vet says "keep doing what you're doing, Gracie looks great." (hope she didn't jinx her xx...she's never told us that before! ) But now we wait for all the lab reports to come back. They are really good to her there & she's always excited to go - crazy girl!! In the meantime I'll just be praying for all good results!

We have gorgeous weather this morning! Beautiful sunshine - so nice. BUT by 10am we have a wind advisory in effect until 7pm. 50 mph wind gusts! Hard to believe, as nice as it is right now!
