Are all you East Coasters prepared for a blizzard?? Hope you all stay safe & warm!!! We aren't supposed to get a whole lot here - I've seen 1-4" predicted. We shall see! It's supposed to start later today.

I guess we're as ready as we'll ever be! I hope we're far enough inland to avoid a power outage. With the snow rates we're expecting, it's hard to tell when they'd be able to get out to restore power!

A prude? No, how about a person with good taste that has enough command of the English language to express himself without the need for "four-letter words".
I remember when I stopped my son from watching a movie that seemed like every other word was cursing. When he looked and me and said, "But Dad, people do talk that way." for his response, mine was, "Yes son and people all use the restroom too, but I don't want to watch it."

Terrific answer!
(I do love one potty-mouth show, though: "Mrs. Brown's Boys." I don't love it because of the language---I love it because it's so, so funny.)

Well I got him on his 5 month birthday so technically I've had him it will only be 7 months...in a way seems fast but in a way I can't remember a time that I didn't have him.

I'll keep your power on in my prayers today (as well as through the storm). Do you have a back-up just in case? It was one reason when I moved to Sioux Falls that I looked for a house with a Fireplace, just in case.

Blizzard watch!!! Doesn't Mother Nature know I've moved on to garden season ? Not to mention driving for FedEx is terrible in this weather and they never close...

I went home for lunch, and before I could make a sandwich, my phone calendar reminded me that I had a cardiology appointment...at that moment. I don't know why I didn't set it to remind me the day before. Luckily, my cardiologist comes to my hometown monthly, so it saves me a trip to Savannah. Also, I wasn't too late since it's only 5 or 6 miles away.

I didn't even get to eat lunch. I'm hungry!
