Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good afternoon .. another chill day here. Don't think we will reach the mid 60s today, at least the sun is still shining. In a way I am hoping we get the chilly raining weather this weekend. Perfect excuse to make another pot of soup and homemade cookies and watch a Christmas Movie The big question would be .. which movie to watch? LOL

I really need to get my garden planted but it was been wet every weekend we have been available to work on it. Maybe later this month. Have a great day!

Good afternoon Minta! I can understand wishing for a rainy weekend for cooking/baking/Christmas...but please keep it there, ok!! Ha ha ha! We are only at 51º right now with a very dreary day & spitting rain off & on. I was trying to chat with my neighbor at lunch while our dogs played but the rain made us stop!
Picking a Christmas movie is always a tough decision!

We need to get in our garden to do some weeding, but it's so wet!!! Maybe tomorrow if we don't get too much rain today! The flowers/plants/peppers I ordered through school were delivered yesterday! It will be a bit before I can get them out.

Couldn't agree more!!! I felt so cozy the other night when I turned on the fireplace. Might as well enjoy it, right?!
And it DOES feel more like fall that spring. Hard to believe we're supposed to hit 70º tomorrow!

This year looks like it's certainly getting a late start and from what I heard there is a chance that the summer heat won't last as deep into September as it has the last couple of years due to a weak El Nino developing...or at least that is the explanation I read.

Planning our move this summer. After a lifetime in California we are preparing to move our lives to Idaho. This year looks like it's certainly getting a late start and from what I heard there is a chance that the summer heat won't last as deep into September as it has the last couple of years due to a weak El Nino developing...or at least that is the explanation I read.

I read the same thing too, Edge and I heard we may get more rain than usual but how knows? It amazes me how for the past couple years how warm it is December!

Morning MMC 5 and 10 day! Well it's 5-10 and I remember that store when I was a kid. It's cool out again as usual but it's going to be a nice afternoon with the sun coming out at least. The weekend ahead looks chilly and rainy. Well another work day and hopefully a good one. Been a busy week so far which is a good thing. Have a great day!

Good Wednesday morning! I am working the afternoon/evening shift so right now, as per my physiotherapist, I'm icing my Achille's tendon while Loki sleeps on my lap. I do have some chores to do this morning though and I have to bring a pair of pants to a seamstress for some loose stitches. I tried sewing it back up and failed. I'm good at replacing buttons though.

I had a Christmas-related dream last night: trying to get organized at work for phase 1 of our Christmas launch. In retail, it will be there before we know it.

Good morning MMC!!! Merry Pines Day!!! What a beautiful morning!! We have bright sunshine with a high of 73º predicted!! So excited for that!!! We are in the mid 50's at the moment. Love it!

Not much going on today except work. I brought Emma shopping last night for our Haystack meal she's making for us next week. It takes a lot of ingredients to feed 25 people! We had a lot of fun picking it all up!
