Prepping for CIJ ....... The schedule should be posted in a few weeks. Ohhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhh Valerie ...... Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhhh Yabba!
Good Morning Minta. The rain missed us here yesterday (thankfully) so I was able to spend the day getting the majority of my yard in shape. It was cool and windy, but that helped dry out the lawn. I hope you enjoyed your "easy" dinner, but mostly that you had the time to relax and recover.Good afternoon .. Its a chilly wet day here... a good day for grill cheese and soup tonight which is quick and easy to make especially since I am to tired and sore to cook anything big. We spent the weekend doing a lot of yard work and getting the garden planted. It was hard work but it will be well worth it. Have a great day!!
Hi there. I got a little bit of DVR time on Sunday, in between the rain. Yesterday was an errand day for me and now it is back to work time. Have a fun Tuesday...A week ago Sunday we had 86 degrees. Saturday 41 degrees and an all day, soaking rain. Once the errands were done, it was definitely DVR time.
Greetings Coach. Monday went well here also. My big problems with my "days off" is that most of the time I do more work on those days than I do during the work week...Well, that Monday wasn't too bad. I'm sitting at home with Doc and the kids...about time for all of us to eat, but I wanted to tell everyone hi!
Today was our last full Monday of the school year. Just think...our next full Monday will be August 14...which is pretty close to our 3 months till season mark and two weeks from the 'Bers. Football will be coming....change in temps won't be too far away....ahhh....
I can almost feel it....
Greetings. I agree, way too much complaining in this world. Last time I checked no one was forced into Christmas In July, so why bring up your displeasure in a place where people are looking forward to it. I think so just want to agitate and actually I feel kind of sorry for those people.Yea, I should have the schedule posted i'd hope for about 3 weeks. Currently QVC is up to June 18h, if it goes like last year they will most likely do pretty much all of July instead of one weekend.
As usual if you read the comments on the forum people are already grumpy that someone asked if the dates have been announced. Never understand if you don't like CIJ why post in a thread for the topic and post hate toward the person that wants to watch CIJ.
Good Morning Festive. I think I can speak for the community when I say, we are so happy you guys are out of harm's way. This world of ours is getting so strange. So much violence and hatred exist where love and kindness could accomplish so much more. At my Bible study today, I will add a prayer for you, your husband, the families of those who lost loved ones and the injured, as well as your country itself.Morning everyone,
Just wanted to check in and say we are okay. I know some of you will be thinking of me as you know where I'm from. The bombing wasn't all that far away from us.
We woke to the news this morning. My husband works nearby to the area but has bravely gone into to work as many can't make it in today. He said the streets are deathly quiet apart from the sound of the helicopters over head. I really just want him home.
My heart breaks for all who we have lost and the injured.
Take care and stay safe all.

Thank so much CGY. I am on edge as something else seems to be happening in the city as a couple places are being evacuated as we speak. Thank you for the prayers and thoughts. I am praying my husband remains safe and can be home soon.Good Morning Festive. I think I can speak for the community when I say, we are so happy you guys are out of harm's way. Thanks Crown! Have a great and fun day!Good Morning, Christmas Promoters and All-Round Season Supporters!
Day by day we advance.
Forward.
Ever forward to our Mecca.
That wonderful, exciting, exhilarating time of the year we call "The Christmas Season"!
And how much longer do we have to wait for this euphoria?
Well:
Days to the Season: 174
Days to Christmas Day: 216
And just so the wait does not seem too long, we also have our Milestone markers to anticipate.
Multiple mood lifts along the course of the rolling year.
<< What's our next one, Crown? >>
It's the 200-DAY CHRISTMAS DAY WINDOW, little voice. And it's now only 16 days away.
<< Why, that's starting to get down toward single digits, Crown! >>
Glad you noticed that and pointed it out to our loyal friends.
It stayed dry for the most part here yesterday, with only slight showers to dampen things a bit. More serious rain is predicted for today and the next couple, however.
We have started out this second day of the work week overcast after an overnight rain, at 68 degrees here in the capital city and more rain looks like it could start falling again at any moment.
Have a Terrific Tuesday, Everyone!
I'm so sorry about what happened yesterday. Such cowards, hurting and killing children. I'm glad you and your family are ok. Sending prayers for those who have suffered during this devastating act.Morning everyone,
