Morning, hope you have a lovely day!

Merry Morning!

Woke up to some strange glow outside. Pulled back curtains and realised it is the sun! Yes we have sunshine and expect to go up to upper 70s today!!

Been watching the coverage of the major fire in London this morning. It is so tragic. Praying for those people and for the emergency services. Always seems to something to challenge the human spirit these days.

Well hope you all have a good day.

...and Happy Pines Day!

Happy Pines Day MMC! Looks like today the heat breaks and it will just be warm with temps near 80 degrees instead of 95 like yesterday. It was so hot yesterday it's just one of those summer days you can't do much other than sit in a.c. if possible. Just another day at work today and hopefully a nice evening ahead. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning ~
It's going to be a bit cooler today. We have showers passing through this morning but thankfully it's going to clear up and be sunny with highs in the upper 70's. My husband and I will be heading to Jones Beach tonight to see the Train concert. Those beach concerts go on rain or shine so I'm glad it's going to be a nice night. Anyway, typical day here otherwise. I have a couple of errands to run and then I'll be working on my daily chores.
I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Good Morning, Everyone!

We are once again at mid-week and are cordially invited to attend this week's Shispering Pines open house, hosted as always by the one and only Carl, Activities Director.

But we get ahead of ourselves. We have the daily count to consider, not to mention a check on the next pending Milestone marker.
Days to the Season: 152
Days to Christmas Day: 194

Our next Milestone? Well, it's the 1/2 way point to Christmas Day 2017.
It's proximity? Twelve days away. Practically down to single digits.
Just let that sink in a moment. Nearly to SINGLE DIGITS to the HALF WAY point to Christmas. Wow!
(The days pass so fast, don't they?)

The steady humid and very warm weather continues, and is predicted to be with us for today as well. Then, the possibility of storms and slightly cooler temps arrives late this afternoon or evening.
For now, we rise to greet a sunny morning with a temperature reading of 72 degrees here in central North Carolina.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, as you ready yourselves for the usual unusual visit to the 'Pines this evening where Carl will be waiting at the door with the usual unusual fired twinkie and tall glass of sweet southern iced tea.
See you there!

London really has experienced a lot a tragedy lately. Praying for those who have lost friends and family in that awful fire.

Happy Pinesday, Christmas friends!

I labored furiously yesterday afternoon, eventually being forced to get in the pool to ensure proper coverage with the vacuum. Ah, the lengths I'll go to, to ensure a clean pool for my family.

I think I missed a spot, though. I better try it again this afternoon. ;)

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Hi Festive....I have been following the news with yet another tragedy for your country...so heartbreaking.

Good morning ~

Have fun at the concert!! I like Train as well...I saw Maroon 5 with my cousin at Jones Beach...it was a great venue!

Merry Afternoon everyone!

What a crazy couple of days! Yesterday evening our solicitor rang to say the move would happen on Friday. I was frantically running around to finish pack etc, book removal van, organise utilities etc. !!! I had assumed it wasn't going to happen on Fri when I hadn't heard back from them over weekend. Anyway she rang me a couple hours later to say the buyers had been in touch to say they couldn't do friday after all!!!!(insert a few choice words here )

Anyway long story short we are moving on the 22nd now and it's been confirmed! It's happening!

I'm glad we have a few more days notice in between. The last thing I want is to part with the house in a rush. It was our first family home so it will be a bitter sweet day.

Hope you guys are having a great week.
So glad to hear that after this crazy roller coaster, you finally have a moving date set.

Good Wednesday afternoon! Another gorgeous day but without the high humidity. In fact this morning I put on a light cardigan to go to work because it was quite cool. I left work 1.5 hour early today because tomorrow I'll be going in 3 hours early to train a new Loss Prevention District Manager in cash office duties. I would normally have stayed the whole day but I figure I give enough that it's ok to take time for myself just this once. Hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful day.

Hope you'll have a great time at the concert HMG!

Morning MMC! Happy Mid-June Thursday. A beautiful day is forecast here with a high of 77 with sunshine. Can't beat that in the middle of June. Hoping to have a good day today at work and then might take Rollins to the park after it since it's such a nice day. Anyone else feel like this summer is going to fly by? Have a great day!
