Days to the Season: 108
Days to Christmas Day: 150

And those figures inform the discerning that we are down now to just 8 days to the 100-DAY SEASON Milestone and the threshold of DOUBLE DIGIT count territory to Christmas Season 2017.

It wasn't excessively bad here yesterday but we still have both temperature and humidity readings that are too high to find very much comfort in.
Today should be more of the same, with possible rain over the weekend.
Currently, our thermometer tells me it is 79 degrees outside and my skin tells me it is still rather humid!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday!!

I can't believe today is Emma's last day. She was a mess last night! We sure are going to miss her!

It's a dreary day so far, but no rain in the forecast. We have a high of 76 today...although that's what they said yesterday & we hit 83 with lots of humidity!

I work until noon, then head home to pack up my things for CIJ - our neighbor at home is having "Funday Friday" so I'll walk over there for awhile, then it's off to the lake!

Good Thursday evening! As our vacation is winding down, we are currently at the Montreal Just for Laughs festival to watch comedian Mike Birbiglia. Going around the site, we stumbled upon a Christmas in July display, complete with Yoda in a Santa hat. Hope everyone is enjoying a nice evening.

TGIF MMC! Another weekend is about to arrive here and somehow the last one of July. I think this year July reminded me how much I really like this month. 4th of July was great and it's been fun having days off and all the summer stuff. This week hasn't been that bad either with the temperatures. Humidity has come up though today but now some rain tonight into maybe Saturday morning. Hopefully it will clear out quick Saturday morning as it sounds like the rain will stay mostly south of us. Who's ready for the weekend? Have a good Friday!

Guess it's not too late to say Merry Christmas in July! Cannot BELIEVE July is just about GONE. Seems like 4th of July was a few days ago! We are going to have rain and temps in the 60's through Sunday so it seems like a good time to light a Christmas candle and put on a Christmas movie to close out July.

Merry Christmas In July!!! You reminded me I need to bring a Christmas candle to the lake for CIJ weekend!!

Its not really rocket science..lol. I add peeled apple wedges,pear and onion to my water tray in the smoker. Their are tons of rubs out on the market but I stick with my favorite 3 that come out of Lousiana.

LOL - sounds tasty! I'm planning to use Bone Suckin Sauce Rub. Love that stuff!
