Happy Friday MMC! Looking forward to the 1st weekend of August as I'm sure all of you are. It's a warm and humid morning out there. We expect some rain tonight into Saturday morning and then clearing for mostly a beautiful weekend. Going to try to catch some fireworks at the park tonight. Should be a decent night for it before the rain kicks in. Saturday will be an errands day and Sunday will be going to my Uncle's. Have a great TGIF!
Send us just a little of that rain. We could use it again!! ;) Have a great weekend Edge!

Good Friday morning! Last work day for me. I'm almost caught up on my work after coming back from vacation. But it's been long days and I'm looking forward to a weekend off. Hope everyone will enjoy a great day.
And I hope you have a wonderful & relaxing weekend!!

Good Morning, Almost-to-the-Window Friends.

Ah, yes indeed!
Stay tuned for the exciting details.

First, the latest numbers:
Days to the Season: 101
Days to Christmas Day: 143

What does that "101" mean, exactly?
Well for one thing, it means that we are just one day short of 100.
And 100 means the 100-Day Season Window.
That in turn, means that the following day starts a DOUBLE DIGIT count sequence to Christmas Season 2017!
And what does ALL of this mean?
It means excitement, Folks. Plenty of excitement to go around!

It was quite warm yesterday, but not what I would call hot for early August. The humidity was up a bit, too.
Today?
Well, perhaps a bit cooler.
How have we started it?
A bit cloudy, with a temperature reading of 73 degrees.

Have a Fabulous Friday, Everyone.
And a flat-out Wondrous Weekend Eve, too!
How exciting we are so close to double digits!!! :D
Have a great weekend crown!

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday! TGIF! And a dreary Friday it is. No rain, but only a high of 70º, it's rumbling & cloudy!

Gracie's appointment was very interesting yesterday!! Quite amazing!! He asked a bunch of questions & told me from her symptoms, this is not a kidney issue, it's a spleen issue. He said we have been treating the symptoms & not the primary problem. 1st he did chiropractic on her. He gave her "happy juice" so she would relax - she fought going down until she couldn't fight anymore. That was tough to watch! Her neck, shoulder & back were out. You should have heard her neck crack! He then did acupuncture on her. Her legs & her tail were jerking. He said this is from the blood that is flowing through her - she hasn't had blood flow through her like this for a long time. He said the longer the needles are in, the less she will twitch - which is exactly what happened. She breathed out at least a 1/2 dozen big sighs of relief during the procedure. It was amazing! He then muscle tested her. That showed she needs all the medicine & food she is on except for the steroid, which I was not crazy about her being on anyway. He gave me a new Chinese herb to put her on, changed the fish oil she takes & gave me new canned food to mix with her dry food. First thing she did when we got home last night was eat!! As in dog food! :D She ate again this morning. She hasn't eaten in the morning for a long time!! It has made me so hopeful!! xx It was a great experience!

Other than that, it's just work for me this morning. I'll be bringing Dena home to Amishville this afternoon, then I'll head to the lake. We have a neighbor boys wedding tomorrow, then back to the lake on Sunday to listen to our friend sing/play!

Everyone, have a great Friday!!!

What fantastic news Holiday. It is always amazing to me what one doctor (or Vet) finds that another might miss. I truly hope this is the beginning of a long recovery period for Gracie and that your puppy will be back on track in no time.
Have a nice weekend...

Good morning ~
Happy Friday!
Not too much going on here, I'm just working on the laundry right now. I have a chiropractor appointment later this morning. I decided to give it try, I'm hoping it will help my headaches & migraines. I have a couple of errands to run afterward. I'm going to make a pot of escarole, bean & pasta soup for me and my hubby. I'll pick up a pizza for the girls. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
I hope your soup turns out great! I take it your girls aren't crazy about it? ;) Good luck with your chiro appointment! I hope it goes well & gives you relief. My hubby goes faithfully every 5 weeks! He's never allowed to stop, or he gets grumpy! Ha ha!
Have a wonderful day!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

It's a soggy, humid, overcast day...but it's a FRIDAY!

I don't have much planned this weekend. Nancy's parents' anniversary is Saturday, and we're taking them out to eat. Other than that, it should be quiet.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Happy Anniversary to your in-laws! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

It sure sounds like this vet is getting Gracie on the right track for better health! I certainly hope the trend continues. So good to hear that she's eating and showing signs of relief!

It is amazing. Second (or third) opinions can sometimes be very helpful!

I agree - it would make me very happy if this trend continues! :) She goes back in 2 weeks.

Thanks made! I hope so too!
Are you enjoying a cooler morning???

The Jubilee went very well. My only drawback was the fact that I had gotten off at 7AM that morning and was only able to grab around two hours before heading out. I did make it until the last few guests entered (I was doing the part of a greeter) at 7PM and then, my body was telling me to head on home while driving was still an option... lol.
There were only a couple of hours left by then anyway, but as always a very nice experience. Thanks for asking...

Well that's great! I hope you were able to get some sleep after you got home!

I'm loving it!! Just took Ella for a walk since we are out at my aunts watching Emily. She had another bad dizzy spell this morning and couldn't go to school.
Sorry to hear about Emily's dizzy spell! I hope she's feeling better now & they can get something figured out for her! Poor girl!
I'm sure Ella appreciated the walk!! :)
ENJOY! (it almost feels chilly out there...)

Even when I try to work a full 5 day week I fall short. Power went out and they sent us home 11AM. Kind of another longer than normal weekend starting.
Well aren't you the lucky one!!! ENJOY!!!!
