Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!
I worked on the broken tree limb on my roof Saturday, chain-sawing all the branches till I got to the main limb. It's pretty hefty, and I'm afraid that if I shorten it too much, the larger part might break away from the tree and fall on my A/C unit or garage. I might need some help with this one.
Other than that, it's a nice day here in southeast GA.

I agree Minta - they always go so fast!! Same with my lunch hour! No hour at work goes by as fast as my lunch hour!

Good Monday morning all. Once again, it has been a few days since my visit here. I don't recall having been as busy last year, but that failing short-term memory might be to blame for that...
Got my new Lakeside Collection catalog Saturday and I will have to mark a few pages for my better half to examine for possible items under the tree this year...
Cool and rainy this morning, so not a whole lot on the agenda. I will make a trip to the Zoo and deliver a new Halloween inflatable I got for them and stop by Hobby Lobby on the way back to check it out as well. Beyond that, I am making some fresh bread for the day (it never makes it to dinner), a roast and doing some early Christmas examination of the many boxes that fill up an area where a car is suppose to be parked. Maybe it is time I invested in a portable storage shed or rented a compartment. I'll have to think about that. I have also measured out the corral and picked up the metal stakes for the fencing. Now to watch the weather and make sure there are in place before any ground freezes.
Last week of September and the completion of the third week of the NFL. Ahhh, the changing times...

Morning Brad. Is this still the results of the storm? I had one that was going straight to my house from the street and had to hire a tree company to remove it before it decided to enter my home without knocking. It is indeed a Merry Monday (and let's not forget that Christmas will arrive on a Monday this year). I think the reason you have a quick Monday arrival is probably due to your very active weekends. You get so much out of them that all of a sudden... it is Monday!

It's always such a tough day. We start out like every other morning having coffee and chatting and then suddenly it hits us this is it till next year!
Before the airport we ran a quick errand so snooped around a couple shops quickly. Our last shopping spreeWill really miss shopping with her and having her here.
Okay well enough. Hope she gets through her long journey. She has two flights till she is home.

Since I had a day at home on Saturday, I went ahead and got out the Halloween & Thanksgiving decor & put it all up! Next few Saturdays are busy, so DH & I decided this was the best time to get it done.
Three months from today is Christmas Day! We'll probably be opening gifts at my in-laws around this time of day then.
