Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good Morning, Christmas Chasers.

And the chase is beginning to quicken now that we have cleared our last Season Milestone marker!

Let's take a look at today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 34
Days to Christmas Day: 76

We note right off the bat that we are closing in on the ONE MONTH mark to the start of Christmas Season 2017.
In fact, that point is now just THREE days away.
(Wow. Almost down to the final month. Just think about that, now!)


Whew! We took a distinct warm turn yesterday, reaching close to 90, and the humidity was sky high.
(Felt like Mother Nature had decided to take us back to late June, if not July.)
These conditions are predicted to continue for today, then commence to moderate for the balance of the week.
Rain is a distinct possiblily too, through Thursday.
We are at 77 humid, overcast degrees here right now.

Morning MMC! Today we have mostly sunny skies forecast with a high of 80. Another late summer day in Autumn. It beats the dreary weather we had the last 2 days. It was pretty miserable out. Other than that just going to work, take Rollins to the park and relax this evening. Next week I'm off Monday so i'm already starting to think about it. 3 weeks till Halloween!

You reminded me, I need to put my name on the calendar for a Monday this morning!

Happy Tuesday!
It's going to be sunny and warm today with highs near 80 degrees. I would love some Fall-like weather! Not too much going on here today My youngest is off today so we plan on going out for lunch and doing some shopping this afternoon. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I also need to pick up mushrooms while we're out, dinner will be chicken Marsala with pasta. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

going to be sewing aprons this morning and then off to work from noon til 4pm this afternoon.
The fall colors are becoming quite nice now around here even if the temps are saying it is still summer.
I will try to get some pictures soon to share.
LittleCS is moving at months end so have to spend time there helping with the packing. She has back problems and going up stairs to her apartment was getting to hard so she is going to a building that has an elevator.

Good Morning everyone! Still crazy weather, very foggy here this morning. My husband and I want to go driving around Friday looking at the beautiful fall leaves and going to pumpkin patches and apple orchards but who wants to do that in 80 degree weather? It should be much cooler. I want the crisp cool air of Autumn!!

Good Tuesday morning! A day off for me, then two days work and then I start a 10-day staycation. Just went for a long walk with Loki, it's already warming up quite a bit, but temperatures will drop tomorrow. I'll be working on invites for our work Christmas party today. But first grocery shopping and chores await. Have a great day everyone!

Greetings HMG. I'll pass along your well wishes and thanks. I have already begun my "Fall" chores, as this weekend I filled by yard waste container (60 gallon) and one other yard bag with the first of many leaf raking excursions. Here it comes...

Good foggy morning MMC! We had fog move in later this morning - I'm sure the bus drivers didn't have much fun driving/picking up the kids! The sun is starting to show it's pretty little face now & we're supposed to have a high of 77 with a slight chance of rain possible around noon.

Just work for me today. We're planning to go visit our friends tonight - the ones who's son committed suicide yesterday. That's won't be easy!

Tomorrow is Miss Emma's pre-wedding party for her "English" friends! Looking forward to that. It should be fun. She gets married Thursday. So happy for her!

Morning everyone! Cold out today with a high of just 46 degrees. Called out of work because of pain in my back, so have the day off. Have a couple interviews for holiday seasonal PT jobs today, so hopefully I can get some extra cash this christmas

Well we just received some horrible news. Our friends son committed suicide this morning. I think he's 21 years old, or right around there. So devastating!

So sad .. will keep you , your son and his friends family in my prayers.

Hi everyone .. yet another warm and humid day today. Relief from this heat and humid madness starts tomorrow ... YAY! I am really over Mother Natures roller coaster ride and I just want the normal cool crisp air that is suppose to be here. Well my lunch beak is almost over ..have a great day.
