Good morning (as he sips on a cup of coffee that is keeping him awake)....

What is Ballcoach doing here on a school day at 11:00 a.m.? School must be in session....

It is...and Bambina is sick as she can be. It was a long, long night and has been an even worse morning. Bless her heart, she is in bad shape. Fever, vomit, and you can guess what else....not the best of morning here. We have been going since 1:30ish last night. I'm in the middle of washing blankets, sheets, pillow covers, couch cushion covers, rugs from the bathroom, rugs from the living room, and rugs from the hallway. Needless to say, there are clothes from all three of us that need to be washed...multiple sets of clothes....

But you know what....it is all good. Christmas is coming and it is coming fast!

On a sidenote, can you give Pepto to a four year old?
Evening Ballcoach and hang in there Dad. I would have to rack my brain to travel back that far in my life, but I can remember a few sleepless nights when mine were sick. I'll add her to my prayers...

Good Afternoon ... we woke up to a little frost this morning  and the house at 58 degrees. Got a another couple chilly mornings in the forecast before a brief warm up (although not that big of a warm up as a couple weeks ago) and I am hoping its the last warm up of the season. Its been way to warm this month. Leaves dying and falling off the trees before they get the chance to change to those pretty fall colors. Local radio station started their Christmas Music survey yesterday. You get to vote on the songs with the tops songs being played on the radio to selecting the date you want them to start playing Christmas music (https://www.morefmphilly.com/vip_contest/101-1-more-fm-christmas-music-survey-2017/) We did the survey last night and the kids were sing right along with the clips and helping to vote for their favorites. It was a fun evening.
Evening Minta. Sounds like a lot of "joyful" sounds were coming from your abode. Very cool. Weird weather indeed, but I will have to admit, it is much easier to decorate (especially for Christmas) when the ground is not frozen... lol. Here's hoping some of your choices make it on the "Santa Radio List".

Morning MMC! Good Pines Day. Halloween is getting closer. I definitely see tons of Christmas overtaking the stores. The signs are leading us in the right direction. Just a day at work and then some relaxing this evening. I had sent my video game system to be repaired and it should be arriving today or tomorrow. It was under warranty so I don't have to pay for it...just hope they fixed it right. Have a great day.

Good Wednesday morning! This week off is going by too fast, as all other weeks it seems. It will be warmer today with temperatures going up the rest of the week. Not much planned today other than a few chores. Hope everyone will have a wonderful day!

Good morning MMC ~
Happy Pines Day!
It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with highs near 70 degrees. Just a typical day of errands and chores. I'll definitely be squeezing another walk in at some point to enjoy the weather. Dinner will be baked ziti and meatballs. I have my sauce simmering on the stove already and it smells so good in here.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good morning from Michigan beautiful ones! I just wanted to pop in and send a quick hello to all of my friends at MMC. I'm not sure when work over took most of my life, but it's happened. The only good part is I can listen to hours of Christmas music while testing software. I wish you all a little bit of luck so today can be considered good enough.

Good Morning, 'Ber Believers!

And around here, a belief in the power of the 'bers is a prequil pre-requisite.
A prequil to the Season and Christmas, of course.

Today's numbers release:
Days to Halloween: 13 (Now, UNDER 2 weeks remain!)
Days to the Season: 26 (Three weeks and five days left!)
Days to Christmas Day: 68 (Two months and a week to go!)

(It's coming, Folks!)

Rather coolish again, yesterday. (Light jacket weather all day.)
A slow warming trend begins today, and we should reach the 70 degree mark by this afternoon.
We have commenced the day downright chilly, at 43 degrees here this morning in the capital city.

Well, it may or may not be chilly where you are but, as usual, things are hot at the Shispering Pines, where Carl and crew have once again outdone themselves to provide a top-flight entertainment experience.
Drop in this evening and check it out!
But if you can't, be CERTAIN not to miss next Wednesday's open house.
<< Why, Crown? >>
Because it's the last open house before Halloween, of course.
(Need I say more?)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

Thanks Crown! Can't believe how fast we're getting there!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

TODAY IS THE DAY!! I get a brand new niece today!! Oh, and my brother gets a daughter. :D

I'm working until I get the call to rush to the hospital.

I hope y'all have as great a day as my family is going to have today! :D

Good morning MMC!!! Merry Pines Day!!! This day has started out chilly, but we're supposed to warm up to a sunny 68º day! Then we have 4 days in the 70's & then it looks like things will start cooling off - still a few days forecasted to be in the 60's in the 15 day forecast, but lots of highs in the 50's too. Our lowest, low predicted is 37º a week from today - subject to change! :p

Not much going on today. Just work ~ which appears it's going to be a slow day!! Hate that!! Last night I worked on one of the shrugs for my nieces wedding for quite awhile. I finished the 1st skein of yarn & the end of the skein was a knotty mess!! So frustrating! I really need to get scooting on these shrugs. I "only" have 2 or 3 more to make after this one - by December 30th. EEK!! I would like to have them done before I start decorating for Christmas. I think that's wishful thinking. Ha ha! Times just going entirely too fast!!

Everyone, have a great day!!!

LOL ... They have a preview of their Christmas music playing on their website too
How fun!!! When will they reveal when they will switch to Christmas music?

This is my kind of weather! Cool air and warm sun and beautiful blue sky today as I went to my appointments this morning. I agree though that is seems many leaves have fallen yet I don't remember seeing much color! I hope we don't get cheated this year...I love taking pictures of the leaves of fall!
I think we've been cheated the last 2 years. Hoping for a good year this year - if we get that it will be later than normal!!

Don't you hate that?
I'm working with a skein that, every few rows, there's a big "blob" in the yarn where it wasn't spun properly. I'm frustrated with having to keep cutting and joining whenever I run into a "blob." It's impossible to tell before you buy a skein if there are blobs or knots hiding inside, so the blobby and knotty skeins cost just as much as the perfect ones, even though you wind up with less useable yarn.

Have a great day, Holiday!! We are warming up to 70 today!

It's a somber morning in Canada. We've lost one lost one of our greatest musicians, humanitarians, and heroes. Gord Downie (frontman of The Tragically Hip) passed away last night after a near two-year battle with an "aggressive and incurable form of brain cancer called glioblastoma."

The Tragically Hip may never have had much success outside of Canada, but they will forever be known as one of - if not the greatest - Canadian Rock Band of all-time. Their music and Canadianity will always have a special heart in Canadians everywhere. Gord Downie will be greatly missed. If you have a moment, feel free to listen to a couple of their slower songs.
