Morning everyone, happy 1st of November. Was listening to Michael buble this morning and 'accidental' listened to some of his Christmas ones. Bought a train ticket to go home in a couple of weeks to stay with my family for the weekend. We got a puppy over the sum

opps sorry, message cut out! what I meant to say was that we got a puppy over the summer, our first ever dog and I'm in love with him! it's horrible being away from him when I'm at university but it makes seeing him that much nicer. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

wow, wow, wow...November 1st !!!! Start of the Christmas season is close enough to touch.
LittleCS is mostly moved in, still a few things to pick up at old place and of course the cleaning to do.
Tomorrow is my sons birthday. My baby is turning 30 !

We had a great time out last night with the girls, we only go up our street but they loved it and everyone loved their costumes!

November already! It feels like it is going far too quick, I really want time to slow a bit ha! I am ready to enjoy every second of the season!

Going to take my youngest to school then head out to work, have a great day everyone!

As with some others, they were polite and I got some nice compliments on my decorated yard being more "kid friendly" than some. It was nice to hear. Have a great day...

Good Morning, Friendly Friends of the Season.
And what could make you feel more friendly than to think about Christmas Season 2017?

But, want to feel even friendlier?
Then get a load of this:
Days to the Season: 12 (CLOSING IN NOW ON SINGLE DIGITS!)
Days to Thanksgiving: 22 (THREE WEEKS from TOMORROW!)
Days to Christmas Day: 54 (Nearly down to 7 1/2 weeks!)

(That first number is just plain frightening!)


Still chilly, but the temps are slowly moderating.
Today should be sunny with our high in the low to mid 70's. Pretty nice for the start of November.
We begin this new month at 48 degrees here in the capital city.


Well, Halloween has passed but the 'Pines could still be a good deal for you this evening. Rumor has it that Carl got a bit overstocked on his orange and black frosted fired twinkies and will not only be giving the first TWO twinkies away free to each visitor, he will be running a THREE for one sale after that point. (Great time to stock up!)
And you just know that Carl will be hard at work on his Thanksgiving open house for November 22, now just three weeks away!

Well we had a whopping 1 kid and that was my neighbors great granddaughter that is up from Crown’s area. She got loaded up though!! I asked her what candy she wanted Sunday and she said a dump truck. Lol!! So I got her a dump truck, one of the 10 count packs of the snack sized kit kats ( her favorite candy), a couple full size bags of skittles, and some little packs of animal crackers.

That was so nice of you, Made!! I am sure she loved it!

The wonderful month when the doors to the festive season open (although some of us have cracked open a window already ). Christmas commercials debut on our screens, town and city lights switch on, decorations appear on shop windows, houses and streets, carols begin playing on the radio, Christmas movies on the TV, advent calendars bought and stored away and by the end of the month Christmas trees pop up from house to house. The Christmas wand has been waved and I love seeing it blossom everywhere and feel the excitement build.

For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving, I hope you enjoy your festivities and preparations as your big day approaches.

Good Wednesday November 1st! Time is going too fast! And it's getting so cold so fast as well, it's nearly freezing this morning. We had a quiet Halloween. David wanted to watch The Shining but fell asleep after 30 minutes. I have 3 days at work and then 9 days off before starting the sprint to Christmas. Looking forward to that time off to immerse myself in all things Holidays. Have a great day everyone!

Happy November everyone! Always a little sad when Halloween ends but unlike the other holidays it signifies the biggest time of year approaching. Last year Rollins was a mummy and this year a pumpkin. I'll post a picture or 2. We handed out a little candy and watched a few of our favorite Halloween shows per tradition. Good morning MMC!! Merry Pines Day - Merry November - Merry 1st snow - Merry 1st day it's "legal" to listen to Christmas music - and Happy Hump Day too!

Woke up this morning to some big beautiful snowflakes coming down!!! I turned on the spotlight in the back yard & watched as long as I could!! LOVE IT! Now it's just rain... Booo!


I watched Garfield Halloween last night. Such a good one! Then it was back to Christmas on Hallmark! Lucy was a wild girl! She was being a pistol last night!!! Must have been Halloween!!! Jim didn't get home until 10 - I was ready for him to take over. LOL!

It only took about five (more) hours today, and it's done. Well, at least one of them us fully complete. The timestamps have been added and the playlist has is all ready in iTunes. I'm super excited to unveil 2017 Christmas Music Trivia #1 in 18 days!

That must have been the best lunch of the year! I had to listen to a few Christmas songs today (for trivia purposes). I'm going to do my best to hold off from now until the 13th at midnight! ...but if I go somewhere and it's already playing, I think I will have to make an exception and just enjoy it!

WOW! She hit the jackpot!!! Our trick or treater's visited us at the lake...and of course our candy was at home. Jim gave them a couple $$ & we'll drop off their candy. It was nieces & nephews!
