Good Morning christmas friends..Still a bit hung over after the party at Holiday's last night lol...We all had a Merry time..Thank you Holiday for inviting the gang over....Well ive been busy today emptying the loft and all the decorations are now on the ground floor all ready for then weekend ahead....Wish everyone a Merry and Joyful day ahead

Wish you would have drug my Christmas tree & decs down from the attic while you were all over last night!!

Good morning everyone ~
It’s going to be cloudy today with a chance of a shower, highs near 46 degrees. Not too much going on here today, I’m going to make a Costco run with my mother. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. Dinner will be tacos & Mexican rice. That’s about it for me.

Good Tuesday morning! Woke up at about 2:40am and wasn't able to fall back asleep until about 4:30am. Feeling quite tired this morning. So many things to catch up at work and our work Christmas party is less than two weeks away and that means I have so many things to coordinate with our social committee, I'm even more tired just thinking about it all. Going to go on a long walk with Loki to try and get energized a bit. Have awonderful day everyone!

Unearthing those boxes of ornaments, carefully put away last year? √
Thinking about festive recipes? √√√
(If not, maybe this just might be the time to start!)

But the count goes on:
Days to Thanksgiving: 9 (SINGLE DIGITS!)
Days to Christmas Day: 41 (UNDER 6 weeks remain!)

(No rest for the weary!)


Slowly it gets warmer. Still rather coolish but we are getting there.
This AM has begun at 46 degrees here in the capital city.
It's clear and dry.and we should reach the mid 50's by this afternoon.

Looks like a dreary day today.
Not too much planned besides work. I have to take Andre to the vet today for his yearly checkup. He LOVES going to the vet and all the attention he gets. I am taking Leo on Friday and dreading it...lol He goes into complete panic mode, I feel so bad for him.

Awe - I hope Andre has a great vet visit today!! And (((HUGS))) to sweet Leo on Friday. Poor guy!

Good morning MMC!! Merry Tuesday!! We have sunshine today! Chilly, but I love to see the sun!!

Little Miss Lucy had us up every 2 hours overnight with diarrhea! Poor girl! Something has her belly in an uproar! Hopefully she's over the worst of it now! xx

Prelit trees are so iffy. The best artificial tree I ever owned had a 6 month backlog when I ordered it. (A whole story in itself) but it was prelit and by the 2nd year they stopped altogether. I replaced every bulb and eventually cut out all the lighting and just used the tree and strung lights. Seems like they would just replace the whole thing.

That is not a fun story. My last prelit was great for about four years... and then Simon made sure the bottom could not longer illuminate.

Now why hasn't anyone thought to wrap the sausage in bacon AND a pancake? Sounds like the next logical step ...

I was out again yesterday with a crazy work day. I feel like I'm missing some of my favorite time of the year!! I hope I'm getting a little closer to being caught-up, though.

Elizabeth's One-Act Play won the Region competition last week, and the State competition is tomorrow, so I'll be away again. But if they win State, they also win a three-day acting workshop at Disney World in February. How cool would that be?!

They weather has finally moderated, and it's in the 60's and low 70's for the next 10 days. Nice!

Ha! We really should. Instead, we just have about two weeks of snow days that we can call. Last year, I think there were about seven or eight snow days. So much freezing rain!

Oh no! How disappointing!! Can you call the store to see what they have to offer?

I am going to bring it back today. The only problem is that we don't have the receipt. I gave it to Kim when we were leaving the store. She's the responsible one. As I handed it over, I said "Here. You take this because I will lose it." Anyway, she lost it. She can find nearly every other receipt but the one for the tree has disappeared.

I have never heard of pigs in a blanket as sausage wrapped in a pancake. Ours is sausage/smokies or hot dog wrapped in a crescent roll. Interesting!
