Good afternoon, 1st day back to work after having a nice 5 day break and yes it did go by way to fast. Got a lot shopping done, most of the outside decorated and still working on decorating the inside of the house. Its going to be a busy week getting all the decorating done. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Well they were busy (but awesome) I give you that.
And something special about seeing Rudolph on t.v. as opposed to dvd.
Totally agree! All the classsics are better to watch on tv - Rudolph, Charlie brown, the Grinch, SC is coming to town, Frosty...

I ordered a couple of the Echo Dots for the kids. Each came with an electrical outlet plug, so you can say, "Alexa, turn on the lamp". That should be a lot of fun, assuming it all works.

I like the idea of telling it to set an alarm, or to look up something on the internet.
Thanks Brad. I'm really thinking about ordering one. I can do all that on my phone/siri, except turn on a light. I guess a benefit is not wearing down your phone battery. (But a lot of times I'll plug in my phone to listen to music.) I guess I better make up my mind before the day is over. ;) (I'm sure there will never be another sale...ha ha ha)

We had a blessed weekend. I was dreading it, but it all went so much better than expected. We had lots of time together on Thursday & Saturday as just our little family of three, decorating our home for Christmas and going to WalMart to check out the craziness. Our meals with both sides of the families went well. DH did a great job playing keyboard at the Old Fashioned Downtown Christmas. Good memories were made.

The snowflake lights are going up in town as I type. This week we have the Christmas parade in my hometown on Friday night. DD's Christmas pictures are Saturday morning. I hope we will have the rest of the day to chill at home. Sunday will be church, DD's band holiday concert, & the church children's Christmas program on Sunday night.
