Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good afternoon... well we had an issue with out timer for our outside lights. The timer kept shutting off .. we figured out that the lights were bright enough to confuse the timer sensor. Its set for 6 hr from dusk and once the lights kicked on it was bright enough to make the timer sensor think it was still day time. We had to move the timer and turn the sensor away from the lights. Problem solved. Got more of the inside decorated. hoping to have all the inside decorations done by Friday. I need to start penciling in dates to wrap all these gifts LOL... don't want to do a last minute marathon again. Have a great day!

I didn't end up ordering one - hopefully they will go on sale again. The Echo is back up to $99 today! Darn!

The big Echo is $99, but the Echo Dot is still $29.99 (Yes, I ordered another one this morning. Sheesh, I can't stop!). It doesn't have such a nice speaker as the larger one, but you might still like it!

Not much time to talk... we arrived home from Pittsburgh yesterday at about 11. I slept from noon until almost 4pm. I guess I really needed to catch up on sleep? Although the Packers lost on a last second field goal, the city of Pittsburgh now has a wonderful place in my heart. Everyone there was super friendly. The food was always delicious, and the city itself is beautiful.

I saw and photographed a few Christmas sightings. I'll share them in the Blossoms thread shortly. I only have three more sleeps to re-charge before Kim and I fly to NYC for our first Big Apple Christmas Experience... and Kim's first time in NYC! It's going to be magical. I think we might be able to find a few sights to photograph and share there... :)

I hope everyone has been enjoying their Christmas Season. So hard to believe that we're almost ready to ring in December!

Sounds like you had a great trip!! Did you eat at a Primante Brothers?? Did you do the incline?
I thought of you when I saw friends of ours were at the game - saw their pic on FB!
How exciting you are heading to NYC!! Have a wonderful trip! Can't wait to see pics!

I thought about buying the dot to try it out - just to see how much we would use it. My sis told me the Echo has much better sound. I guess we could always keep the dot upstairs in the bedroom & if I decide to get the echo, use it in the kitchen/tv room area. Hmmm Thanks Brad! :p

Thanks ... I have a sled that I want to attached light up candy canes to and place in the corner of the porch next to the front door. Its too dark there so I am hoping this will brighten it up.

I just had Primanti Brothers Sunday night. I almost needed a nap before I headed home. Lol!!
