Too cold to go anywhere today. Have to take care of my fur babies. Willa is hiding out somewhere so I have to go look for her. Salem has been staying outside of the houses these past few nights so I have to make him his own house. The silly cat. If he would stay with the other cats, they would all be toasty instead of walking around with frosty whiskers.

Morning MMC! It's freeeeezing out. But that's ok because it's my last work day of the year. I will be off until I go back on Tuesday. Looks like we're in for a long stretch of cold weather. Well it is winter. And it's still nice seeing some snow on the ground with the Christmas lights out. Enjoying it for sure. Going to have a friend over tonight for pizza. Good way to relax and start to enjoy a long 4 days off. Have a great day!
 
Good morning and Happy Thursday!
My goodness, it’s chilly out there! Not too much going on here today. I need to make a Target run at some point. I’m also heading to another Hallmark store to see if I can find any ornaments for half off. I went to one yesterday but the pickings were slim. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Dinner will be fried chicken, homemade macaroni & cheese and a tossed salad. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

We went out to Savannah last night. Nancy and our niece heard that Old Navy had a big sale happening, and judging from how full the car trunk was, it was a BIG sale.

We ate at a Mexican restaurant last night, and I decided to try something new. I had enchiladas covered in something called mole sauce. BLECH!! I'm still trying to get the taste out of my mouth! Lesson learned.:p

Good morning! Relaxing day today. Nothing on the agenda for me at all! My wife took Henry to a museum with her sister and her kids this morning. Nathan is out with his girlfriend and her family today. So, for at least a little while today I have the house to myself.
It is VERY cold out today, but it is going to get colder. Snow is in the forecast for Friday into Saturday and then even colder air moving in.

I should be taking some of this downtime to work on my thesis proposal due Sunday by midnight; and or work on lesson planning for the last week and a half of the semester. However, that just does not sound like fun right now. :p

Good morning .. enjoying the christmas lights and my coffee at the moment. Have to bundle up and run to the store in a bit, gotta get more coffee creamer and maybe I will take a another look at the Christmas Clearance again. Made soup for dinner last night and debating if I want to make another soup tonight. After several days of heavy rich foods I wanna something a little lighter plus with it being so cold .. soup sounds so good LOL

Morning everyone. Finished my first day back at work since last Thursday. Never changes. I suppose the one good thing about working at Wal-Mart is that I can pick up what we need at home after a shift, so I don't have to stop somewhere else or go out later. Got a few clearance items, but I already have so much, that it is just an item here or an item there. I may have to box up a bunch and send them to JollyHeather... :D
The cold will keep a lot of people in this weekend I'm sure as the highs for 30th-1st will be between -9 & -10 degrees. Yes, the highs and we get lots of wind here in the plains, so a wind chill is factored in.
Some will brave the temps for New Year's Eve I guess. It amazes me. People who would never go to see a doctor in this weather (barring emergencies of course), will still head to the bars.
P.T. Barnum would be proud... lol
Good thing both the Packers and Bears play indoors this weekend...
