I think our receptionist is going to take him* home. Poor little thing, it's always cold in the office and he was shivering earlier, so they covered his cage. Someone also posted to a local Facebook lost-pets page, in case the owner is looking for him. He's a lucky Tweety-bird that someone found him and took him to a safe place.

*Still don't know if it's a he or she!

I'll keep the poor little guy in my prayers.

Hi everyone! not had a great day today, The wind and rain was so bad last night I couldn't sleep a lot so been a bit all over the place today. Hopefully will sleep better tonight, I have the day off tomorrow which will be nice. Think I'm going to go out for food or some drinks with friends to celebrate valentines day. Has anyone got any fun valentines plans?

Happy Milestone Day, MMC!!! Well the warmer air is moving in here and with it, my allergies have gone crazy. So I’ve spent most of the day in a Benadryl daze. Now I’m just watching the olympics and doing some cleaning. I hope everyone had a great day!

Good morning. This is truly a morning where I need coffee running in my veins. I am in such a cloudy haze this morning. I took a Xanax way too late last night to help me sleep and it has not had the proper time to wear off yet.

Oh man, what a night last night. My brother calls me last night night, upset, distraught, sad, angry because his son had a mental breakdown yesterday. I’m still in shock and am upset myself. His son opened up that he was sexually molested 13 years ago. Oh dear Lord, I am praying for him and my brothers family.

My brother lost his job, as a supervisor for Baltimore City mass transit administration and is in the process of getting a medical retirement because of severe back issues; they have no health insurance, no income coming in. His son needs to go to counseling ASAP. I stayed up last night looking online to help, to see if there are any free government assisted counseling out there that could help him.

I was only able to find two, but I was not sure if what I found were the right things or not.

What a thing to hear. I’m sick in my stomach from hearing that last night. Please pray for my nephew and my brothers family to help them to heal.

Good Tuesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's still overcast and yucky, but it's a day the Lord has made!

Nancy and I are trying to implement our New Year's Resolution, and get healthier. I know, everyone says it, but I'm the one who's going to follow-through, doggone it! We walked a couple miles yesterday afternoon, and we plan to make that a daily priority. I'm also thinking I'll throw a bike in the back of the truck and ride it home for lunch on nice days, as an added bit of exercise. I only live 1.2 miles away, so it's not a big deal.

I have a lousy cold ... felt it coming on the last two days. Ugh. I'd love to be curled up in bed today getting some extra rest.

The water I gave the cats this morning has not frozen as of yet. Doesn't seem all that warm to me, but it does look like the snow pack has gone down a bit, too, so it must be above freezing. I'll take it! Tomorrow it will be in the 40s.

Sorry for being away for so long, probably not the best to post about depression and disappearing for 21 days. I have been working on myself, I have had my meds switched up again, and so far it feels like the right mix. I have been approved for an intermittent leave of absence so I don't have to worry if I need to take an actual mental health day when I need to, the last few months I have gone in on days when I shouldn't have. I finally took down 2 of my three trees today, I couldn't find the strength, or right frame of mind to do it, and it really hasn't been a big deal to keep my trees up until February 12, they were there to help cheer me up.
I am ok, I don't plan on disappearing like that again.

Yes.... The middle of the week will be here in just a few more hours.

First, I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, kind words, prayers and compassion, from myself and my brothers family.

I hope everyone had a good day today. I’m just wiped for the night. I already had my shower and have crawled into bed to relax some and get to sleep a lot earlier than I have been for the past couple of days. Shiloh, has jumped up in bed now and she is curled up on top the comforter right next to me (she just loves her pa-pa).

Can you believe it will be Valentines Day tomorrow.

So, to all the ladies, I wish you all a Happy Valentines Day.

For my special lady, this will be our first Valentines Day, as husband and wife. I made her a homemade Valentine’s Day card. I went to Michaels and bought all these things and I personalized a card, special for her. I am then taking her out for a seafood dinner tomorrow night too!

Morning MMC. Happy Valentine's Day! Another little marker here in Mid-February and there are 2 houses that I run by every morning that still are lit. Each day this week they've had the Christmas lights on. I wonder which will outlast the other. Hope you all have a good middle of the week and V-Day!

I have a couple of houses near me as well, that still have their lights up and lit.

I just cannot ever recall, seeing homes with Christmas lights still up and lit pushing into the middle of February. I think it’s great!

Since we live in an apartment, we have no exterior lights, but we do have some of our Christmas decorations still out and we have this Christmas swag that we light up at night. Turning most of the house lights off and plugging that in, gives the little place, such a warm Christmas glow!

Good morning! Happy Valentines Day and it’s Hump Day today; yea!!! It’s all downhill after today! I just love the anticipation build up for the weekends. Especially, being able to stay in bed a lot longer in the morning!

I got 9 hours of sleep last night and I’m feeling so much better getting that rest.

You know, my goodness, I looked at the weather forecast for the next 7 days, and there is no snow at all. That’s a bummer! There’s nothing like a snow day or two in the middle of the week! Actually, the temperatures seem too warm for me, for it being in the middle of February in New England. This is my first winter up here, I was expecting all more snow!

Happy Valentines Day MMC ~
I have an appointment this morning for a follow up stress test. I had to reschedule this appointment twice because I had bronchitis. Hopefully all is well and I won’t have to go for any further testing. I’m stopping at the florist afterward to pick up flowers for my mother, I’m going to see her this afternoon. I will give my husband and the girls their gifts later this evening. Dinner will be raviolis, I found heart shaped ones in Costco!

Another candidate for the general manager's position is coming in for a tele-interview this morning. I'll never get used to the idea that someone other than one of us might be in charge.
