Hi everyone, hope you've been having a good week so far. Mines not been so great. Been really sick since Monday morning, Think it must be the flu. Not been able to get out of bed until today but feeling a lot better. Missed all my lectures so far this week so not feeling great about that as I don't want to fall behind. Thought I'd pop in and say hello to try and get some of that Christmas cheer to make me feel a bit better. I'm not one to partake in any festive related activities unless its the holiday season but I think times like this call for a Christmas movie! any recommendations?

Praying you are 100% soon and that someone took good notes you can copy!

Merry Wednesday!

It didn't seem to rain much last night/this morning, so with the warmer temperatures yesterday and today, most of the flooded fields are draining. It is still very soggy out and there are still some patches of ice in the woods, but we really lucked out this time around and there was no damage and no flooding in the basement. =)

Went through a bunch of boxes in the basement as I am going to pull all the glassware I currently have in the store and replace with all "new" stuff. A bit of a job, but it really needs to be done. Good time to do some spring cleaning in both places, too.

What a little spit fire! Lucy didn't last long sleeping in the cage at night. She was keeping us awake all night. But she did start sleeping on a bed on the floor next to our bed...which is where she normally is now, unless if she goes back downstairs & crawls on the couch. (YES, spoiled!)
Lucy was a naughty little girl again at lunch, when she finally decided to get out of the rain. We are in so much trouble this spring! I am not going to be able to have any flower pots on our patio this summer!!!

Morning MMC. Happy Friday Eve. Been a pretty busy week here. Today should be a good day at work as I am able to catch up on some stuff. Looks like the last lights have been shut off but I'll double check tomorrow morning. It was 75 degrees and sunny yesterday. It was unreal. The warmest temp ever for any day in February history. That's pretty incredible. Back to a chilly rain today with maybe even a little sleet mixed in. Have a great day!

The warm and spring-like weather continues. It feels more like May than February, which is just fine and dandy with me.
Today should be sunny and warm as well, and it has started here in the central part of NC at 66 degrees.

What a little spit fire! Lucy didn't last long sleeping in the cage at night. She was keeping us awake all night. But she did start sleeping on a bed on the floor next to our bed...which is where she normally is now, unless if she goes back downstairs & crawls on the couch. (YES, spoiled!)
Lucy was a naughty little girl again at lunch, when she finally decided to get out of the rain. We are in so much trouble this spring! I am not going to be able to have any flower pots on our patio this summer!!!

We have customer coming for the tour soon, so I'll probably be away form here for most of the day.

There was no talk of the incident at Elizabeth's school yesterday. I know the law wanted to keep discussions about it to a minimum during the investigation, and it seems everyone took their request to heart.

All this talk of cooler weather, and it's still going to be in the 80's for the foreseeable future LOL.

Good morning MMC! It's a later check in from me today. "One of them mornings!"

It's such a rainy, chilly, WINDY, icky day!! Makes me want to take a nap.

Not much going on today besides work & watching it rain!!

Anybody have big plans for the Rudolph weekend? It's my weekend with mom. I'll have to bring some Christmas DVD's! Sounds like Saturday is supposed to be a wash out! Blah! I'm so tired of rain....but we won't be able to buy it when we really need it!!

I have been wanting chicken pot pie. Maybe I will have to make that for mom & I this weekend. (Hey - that's a great idea! ) Jim is not a huge fan - unfortunately!!!
