Morning MMC. We wound up getting close to a foot of snow. It came down like crazy yesterday afternoon and I was glad that I decided to stay home. Today back to normal (I hope) although I heard we have no heat still. But I'm going to try to get through these next 2 days as our electric company says they will fix it by Friday. Pretty crazy start to March. Hope you all enjoy your Thursday!
Stay safe & warm today!!! (If we had a foot of snow, I would not be going to work around here! LOL Roads wouldn't be passable! - come on snow!) :p

Good Friday morning! I can't believe parts of the US got hit with another storm so soon after last week's. Hope everyone is safe. We got a dusting of snow overnight with more to come but no major accumulations. I worked 12 hours yesterday, I'm just glad I have a day off today, a day for laundry and other chores. But for now I'm just enjoying a relaxing morning with Loki sleeping on my lap. Have a great day everyone!
Enjoy your day off & your time with sweet Loki!

Merry Thursday MMC ~
It’s going to be partly cloudy with highs near 42 degrees. Kind of a busy day for me. Rocky has a vet appointment this morning. My youngest has a doctor appointment later this afternoon. I have to run a couple of quick errands as well. I’ll be working on daily chores in between. Dinner will be chicken Marsala. That’s about it. I’ll pop back in when I can. Hope everyone is well. Have a great day!!!
xx
Hope the appointments go well. I'm sure you'll be happy to be through all those puppy vet appointments before toooo long!
Have a great day HMG!

Good Morning, Counters!
And each and every morning, we "count" on the latest figures to keep us informed as to the proximity of our holiday season of choice.

So, sans further tarrying, here are today's numbers:
Days to the Season: 250
Days to Christmas Day: 292

And the ONE-THIRD Milestone to Christmas Season 2018?
Well, that marker lurks just 7 days up the road. ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!
(We are leaving these channel markers in our wake at a dizzying pace!)

Rather chilly here yesterday, but we must remind ourselves that it is still officially winter and that spring will not arrive for the record until March 20, still twelve days off. (Let's try to hang on until then!)
Today has started off rather cold here, at 34 degrees, and we are not supposed to break past the 50 degree mark.

Well, the Crowns leave early tomorrow morning for the Alabama wedding of my first cousin's son, the first of his generation in our family to tie the knot!
As such, I leave you in the highly capable hands of our own unique Edge, who will guide us through the next three mornings.

Have a Thrilling Thursday and a Rousing Remainder of the week, Everybody!
Have a great trip!!

We got the heavy wet snow overnight, as expected---lots of big branches down, and the snow is still winding down, so we're both working from home today. Nasty storm. Commuter rail derailments, and over 325,000 without electricity in the state. We're okay, but the power has flickered a few times...fingers crossed it stays on today.
Nice that you were both able to stay home. Hope you keep power & stay warm & cozy!! Do you have that crochet hook ready for when you get a break?? :D
Have a good day Merry!

I’ll keep an eye out for you in Bama, Crown. Travel safely!

Good morning. What a night last night! That was a really wild storm that hit us yesterday, I just loved it. I decided to stay at home again today, not because if the weather, but mostly because the schools are closed so The Mrs is home today.

I have no idea to how much snow we got yesterday, but, I can tell you, it was a lot. When we were out playing around in the snow last night, the visibility was down to like nothing, I could only see about 20 feet in front of the truck. That’s how hard and fast the snow was coming down, and the winds were like blowing the snow horizontally; it was Pretty neat!

Well, time to put the coffee on and watch the snow start to melt!

You bet! I'm checking my office email every quarter-hour. In between, I'm crocheting on an afghan. You have a good day, too!

Hope you get more snow!
Love the Golden Girls! Was the Christmas episode the one where they were in a diner?

Oh, that is my favorite Golden Girls episode!! It wasn't that one though! I think this one was called "Have yourself a Very Little Christmas" where the girls are volunteering at a homeless shelter & Stan shows up dressed as Santa.
BUT the episode you are talking about is on today at 4PM EST on Logo. "Twas The Nighmare Before Christmas" I hope I'm home to watch!!

That's the thing about March. It melts as fast (if not faster) than it comes down!
Have a good day!!

Awe - sounds cozy! (but that darn work thing...lol)

I’m sitting here in front of the window, sipping on my coffee, the sun is shining in on me and it is really warm. The suns rays are getting more and more stronger as the winter months are coming to a close.
Yesterday, was a perfect example of that March snowfalls, it was a heavy, wet snow and it stuck to everything. those heavy wet snows are sure beautiful because it does stick to every tree branch, etc... but the downfall of that, is trees and power poles may start coming down.

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

I took Elizabeth to the doctor yesterday. It looks like she might have my bronchitis, and she's scheduled to sing in a school competition tomorrow. They gave her a couple shots and a couple prescriptions, so maybe that will help.

It's super busy around here. I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Some BIG branches came down in our yard; others are broken and dangling. Nasty, heavy stuff, the wet snow. I can hear it shifting on the roof, too. A news story I read yesterday called it "white mud" because of the heavy, sticky consistency.

Oh no! I hope she doesnt get sick and she will be 100% for her performance.

That’s are great description for it right now; it does feel like wet mud. Even last night when we were out playing around in it, we got out of the truck to take some pictures, and it was like stepping into a 8 inch deep slush mush mess. And it stuck to you like axel grease!

I hope you don't lose any branches or power poles! xx

Me neither. But you know, I was watching a video on the weather channel, and it happens all the time in this kind of weather.

They had a video on there, to where they recorded a tree falling over onto the power lines, and the live wires fell on top the fire truck. Luckily, no one was injured.

March 20th is the very first day of Spring. That’s not very far off at all. Just 12 more days away.

But, looking at the National Weather Forcast, the discussions are saying we may get another nor’easter Sunday/ Monday! Stand by.....
