Thank you for the prayers, M~
Mom said that Jazzie is having a better day! Harlowe was doing okay last night, and for the short time I saw her this morning-she was sleeping most of it :)
Now that the antibiotics are finished, we will see how it goes. Fingers crossed!

You're welcome!
My day is going pretty well~ hope yours is, too!
Harlowe was doing okay last night, the next few days will tell a lot, I think. Hope that this round of antibiotics took care of the infection and inflammation.

I hope so too. Continued prayers for Harlowe, and Jazzie as well. Have a good night Snowflake! {{{hugs}}}

Good morning all! Just had a settlement at my office and now I'm enjoying some Christmas in July on QVC playing as I work... August tomorrow, fall is close!

Judesmama, Nice to see you here again, it's been awhile. Hope you and your family is doing well. Christmas in July on QVC, has been the main thing on in my home also. And yes, I have used the credit card a few times! That Easy Pay option makes it so nice to spend some money.

Good afternoon .. is it me does it feel like you blinked and there went July? How is possible that Aug is tomorrow??? Not that I am complaining but I sure hope father times hits the brakes a bit once Sept arrives. I just can't get over that we are just weeks away from the BERS.

I know, isn't great! I agree with you, I'd like to see Fall linger for a long while and then slowly see Christmas coming around the corner; slow and steady.

Thank you for the prayers, M~

I will say a prayer for HJ tonight. I hope they work and that she will be feeling better soon. Give her a hug for me, she's such a sweet little baby!

A typical week here, just getting back into our normal routines. Adi's Birthday is Thursday, and I need to pick up one more gift.

Like MerryCarey posted, I too am trying to plan vacation days. Autumn and Winter are right around the corner, and that's when I like to use the majority of mine. Long Autumn weekends, and extra holiday time. So excited as we look forward to the 'Bers.

Wishing you all a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday wishes to Adi; all the way from Connecticut. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

I normally do the same thing myself, to use most of my vacation days between October - January. With moving and such this year, I've already put a huge dent into my vacation days, so, if I take off for anything now, I'm doing it without pay. It's ok with my bosses, but it hurts the bring home pay...

I'm so looking forward to Fall weather, (as I do every year) the season as a whole, the colors and the harvest bonanza that the farms produce!

Thank you ... I stayed home from work to get a little extra rest today.

Great minds think alike. I took off yesterday and again today and....I Love It!!!!
But, I was busy at home here and was up to my elbows with Home Depot, Maytag and an appliance delivery company.

Good Evening everyone. I hope your day was a good one. I had a busy one myself, but it was good.
We had ordered a Whirlpool laundry center for our second floor and it came yesterday, Great right? Wrong! It arrived damaged in the box. So, today we had to go over to the Home Depot in another town and we ended up, purchasing another Laundry center that is made by GE instead.

The irony of the whole thing here is that when the Whirlpool arrived, we realized by mistake, that we purchased an HE washer. "Oh no, it's an HE washer (energy and water saver) with water sensing technology" and no by-passes to get around it to set your own water level as needed. That technology really stinks!

If you do not own a water saver/ HE washer, what happens is that they are designed to use less water. And most of them have no center agitator. The downfall of that is that your clothes do not come out fully cleaned and they get all twisted up in the washer; I know, I got one in the basement.

So, once we saw that it had water sensing technology, we almost died. However, since it arrived damaged, it had to go back to the store and we will get our money back for it.

With getting the GE model, it has 4 water settings, that you can by-pass the built-in water sensor and adjust the water level yourself to small, medium, large and super fill Yes!!! 4 settings to add as much water as you need per the size of your load in the washer and it has a center agitator.

In the end, we made out, so much better than how we origionally started out the day before. We are all happy and we will get our new laundry center next week.
