On Saturday, Adi will go see his Dad and then I will drive halfway there to pick him up. He still has his Dad's car from picking him up in Green Bay, and Ken needs it back, so his sister will give him a lift halfway so I won't need to travel as far. That will take a good part of the afternoon, so we'll probably stop for dinner on the way back. And Sunday is catch up around the house day. It's amazing how you blink, and the weekend is over!

Hello everyone! Things got exciting for me today as my son’s fiancé was induced at 4 this morning. She’s moving along slowly but moving. She’s having a rough go at it, but is pushing through it like a trooper. Baby Ellie is doing fine. I will be a grandfather by the end of the weekend for sure! I never thought I could love anyone or anything more than I do my children. Ellie has proven me wrong. I cannot describe the amount of love I have for her right now. My son is doing as well as can be, he’s feeling helpless though. I completely know the feelings he’s having. I will keep everyone posted and post pics when Ellie arrives.

How exciting. Praying all is going well!! xx

Morning and TGIF one and all! Thanks to Minta we’ve had the countdown running all week in Crown’s absence. Today let’s take a look at those lowering numbers that continue to amaze here in Mid to Late Summer.

Days to the Season: 95
Days to Christmas Day: 137

Wow that count is getting almost too low now. And you know what else? I just checked and our next milestone believe it or not is in 4 days! On Tuesday we will reach the 75% marker (That would also be considered 3/4 ) to the Christmas Season. REMARKABLE! Only ¼ to go? That’s not enough time is it? Well let’s just enjoy today then and start getting ready for the Bers which is coming in 3 weeks. Make it a great Friday everyone! Let’s enjoy this summer weekend ahead!

Good Friday morning! A perfect Summer morning with NO humidity! It feels so good having cool air coming in from all the windows open. And I have Loki sleeping on my lap right now, so it really is a perfect morning. I have a 3-day weekend thanks to my boss who saw how much time I put in during our store’s pre-opening period. Today I plan on getting laundry and chores out of the way while David is at work so we can relax some over the weekend. Have a great day everyone!

Merry Friday MMC ~
It’s goung to be sunny and warm today and it’s finally less humid! We’ve had Florida like weather and storms here on the island this past week, it’s nice to get some relief. I’m just having a cup of coffee and I’m working on a menu plan & grocery list. I need to run to the pet store and butcher today. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. Dinner will be steaks on the barbecue with roasted potatoes and corn on the cob. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!!!

I haven’t been given the measurements yet, but Little Miss Elizabeth Kay is one vocal little girl! Mom and baby are both doing great. Dad came out crying just like his old man was when he and his sister were born. My heart is exploding with love right now!

Good Morning, friends~

Friday Blessings!! TGIF!!

Thank you all for your prayers for my sister, Shannon, and her beagle, Hailey.
Hailey was re-tested yesterday, and unfortunately her blood work showed that the antibiotics didn't have the effect we had hoped for, her kidneys have worsened and they are failing her.

Shannon and my niece, Alyssa, have been spending quality time with Hailey, and will be saying goodbye to her this afternoon.

We are all sad, but it is time. She is really struggling this morning.
My Mom is heading over to see her, as she and Dad just returned home from up north..
And my sister is trying to get her into the vet earlier. Hailey is finding some solace outside, so they are resting in the shade at the moment.
Really wishing I could be there for them!
Please keep them in your thoughts.

A busy day here, I have my work and I’m also covering for a co-worker in a sister company.

Tonight is relaxing with Adrian and Harlowe, AC, Pizza, and Netflix.
