Today is Jacob's 21st birthday! I wish he was more excited about it, but his girlfriend broke up with him yesterday, and he's terribly sad. She could have waited a couple days so he could enjoy this birthday. Oh well. C'est la vie. We're taking him out to eat with the whole family tonight.

My back is feeling better today. Whew! I must be getting old or something!

Another warm and humid day but looks like it will break tomorrow after we have some storms. They ended up canceling my daughter's soccer scrimmage due to the heat, which I think was the right choice.
I was so excited, I went to the grocery store last night and I found Peppermint Mocha creamer...yum!! So I am having some now, I forgot how good it is.
Just work for me today and hoping to get in a workout. I need to get back on track. Hope you all have a great day!!

I need to make a Dollar store trip!! Haven't been in there for awhile. I'm sure they are all out fall/Halloween!! :D Maybe I'll make it there tomorrow.

If you your prayer was answered, sooner, or later, you would be looking for a three day week. Then there's the small matter of reduced compensation for less output....Annoying, pesky details...o_O

I did have a bunch if freshly canned strawberry jam but I think my daughter has wiped out half it already. She refuses to eat store bought strawberry jam. I am just waiting for the apples I want to come into season so we can go pick them. The kids polished off the applesauce a couple months ago and again they refuse to at store bought applesauce.
