Good Morning, MMC~

Merry Pines Day!

A rainy Wednesday here. Storms continue through tomorrow as we travel to the Twin Cities for Harlowe's annual cardiology appointment. My sister is coming along for support-she joins us every year. Harlowe adores her auntie, and it really helps keep me more calm.

Please keep my Mom in your prayers~ she wasn't feeling well over the weekend, and went in to urgent care Monday night. She was there for 7 hours, they did a lot of tests, and found out she has pneumonia. She is at home now, resting and on some strong antibiotics. I worry extra because she is a senior, and I know it's more difficult to kick.

A typical day here. Work, a few meetings, and then getting ready for tomorrow.

Wishing you all a great day!

Praying for safe travels for tomorrow, good news from the vet, and a speedy recovery for your mom. Sending love and hugs your way! {{{HUGS}}}

. . .
My brother has a confirmed case of the flu, was diagnosed Monday morning. He is on Tamiflu and is starting to feel a bit better.

I'm glad your brother is feeling a bit better ~ prayers for a speedy recovery for him! xx

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It was a quiet evening yesterday. We went to Nancy's parent's for dinner; we took KFC, and it was great!

I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to post tomorrow or Friday. I'll be travelling for work, but I'll try to post form the road.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Have a fun and safe trip!

Happy 'Pines Day, everyone!

It's been a fun week in Ottawa. After two days near the 100s with humidex, we cooled off to barely reaching the 70s today... and it felt even cooler. What a perfect autumn day!

To say that I am excited for the weekend would be an understatement. I only teach two classes (usually) per day, but I am tired. Also, on the other side of the weekend just might be the debut of the Christmas Blossoms Thread. There should be a countdown to Crown's launching of the Most Wonderful Thread of the Year!

I hope everyone has been enjoying their week thus far. See you at the 'Pines today and then we're only two work days from the weekend!

Sending good thoughts your mom!s way for fast relief and a strong recovery. Hugs to you as well snowflake22.
Thanks so much, Martine ♥️

Morning MMC! Everyone is eyeing Autumn now coming this weekend. I found out yesterday my boss is going to be out of town next week. It just helps when she's not around because I can get other work done instead of being interrupted as much. Looking forward to a nice weekend ahead as temps look to be in the high 60s - low 70s comfortable early Autumn type weather. Have a great day!

Merry Thursday MMC!
It’s going to be cloudy today with a high of 73 degrees. I’m picking my mother up later this morning and we’re going to make a Costco run together. We’ll probably grab lunch on the way home. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. Dinner will be shrimp scampi over linguini. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well. Wishing all of you a wonderful day!!!

Good Morning, Folks.

Wow.
So much of our journey behind us, now that we are entering the last third of September. The year has really passed quickly.

I'm almost afraid to look at the Countdown statistics.
But let's do it, anyway:
Days to the Season: 54
Days to Christmas Day: 96

I'm even more apprehensive about inspecting the latest update on our next pending Milestone marker.
But let's do that too:
It is, of course, the THREE-QUARTER mark to Christmas Day.
And it is now only FIVE days into the future.
(Downright frightening!)

It warmed up again yesterday, and with all the moisture left around from Florence's unwelcomed visit, it was quite humid.
Hopefully, that will be subsiding in the near future and we can comfortably welcome the arrival of official fall, this Saturday.
Currently, we record 73 degrees here on our back door thermometer.

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everyone.
And get yourselves all geared up for Weekend Eve, tomorrow!

Thanks Crown! I'm eyeing Autumn!

Good Thursday morning! My first day back at work Monday wasn't too overwhelming but my feet and legs were so sore and and I was beat at the end of the day, it felt like I hadn't walked in forever. The rest of the week is going smoothly, I haven't done a single extra minute of work so far. I have the day off, we have some shopping to do today, David has another physio appointment and I have to go to the bank (seems everyone at the store forgot to order quarters during my vacation and we've run out). Then it will be the usual chores and laundry. And Loki is due for a bath, that's always fun (not!), but it's hilarious afterwards when he gets the zoomies. Hope everyone has a great day!
