Merry Thursday MMC!
It’s going to be cloudy today with a high of 73 degrees. I’m picking my mother up later this morning and we’re going to make a Costco run together. We’ll probably grab lunch on the way home. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. Dinner will be shrimp scampi over linguini. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well. Wishing all of you a wonderful day!!!

Good Thursday morning! My first day back at work Monday wasn't too overwhelming but my feet and legs were so sore and and I was beat at the end of the day, it felt like I hadn't walked in forever. The rest of the week is going smoothly, I haven't done a single extra minute of work so far. I have the day off, we have some shopping to do today, David has another physio appointment and I have to go to the bank (seems everyone at the store forgot to order quarters during my vacation and we've run out). Then it will be the usual chores and laundry. And Loki is due for a bath, that's always fun (not!), but it's hilarious afterwards when he gets the zoomies. Hope everyone has a great day!

They are so cute!! I have had 2 boxers and they both LOVE/LOVED kids. So gentle with them.

Happy Thursday...we have temps in the low 70's, definitely starting to feel like fall. Yesterday I noticed some of the leaves were changing and we have more fallen leaves in our yard. Tonight I have open house for my youngest daughter, only an hour so not too bad.

Good morning MMC!! Merry Friday Eve!! I haven't looked sooooooo forward to a weekend for a long time!!! LOL!!! I'm at my old job this morning & I'll head to the new job this afternoon. Tomorrow morning I have to bring Mandy (Amishville) home, so I'm planning to come to my "normal" job for the rest of the morning! Sounds like every day I'll be working at both places until the end of the year. What a yo-yo!!!

Everybody is very nice at the new job. I'm just frazzled by all of it! Holy Hannah!! They do things so different from my "normal"! It will take some getting use too. But the building is beautiful. Nice offices & clean. There is a nice kitchen/bar area right behind my desk, which makes it feel very Homey! I think it will be ok, it will just take some time!

My sister had her knee replaced yesterday. Sounds like all went well & hopefully she'll get to come home today.

What a week!

Listening to the chipmunks as they play and harvest their walnut crop ~ they are quite the chatterboxes!

Researching some things this morning and then I have to move a lot of stuff for the stuff ~ good thing it isn't humid out this morning!

Merry Pines Day!

A rainy Wednesday here. Storms continue through tomorrow as we travel to the Twin Cities for Harlowe's annual cardiology appointment. My sister is coming along for support-she joins us every year. Harlowe adores her auntie, and it really helps keep me more calm.

Please keep my Mom in your prayers~ she wasn't feeling well over the weekend, and went in to urgent care Monday night. She was there for 7 hours, they did a lot of tests, and found out she has pneumonia. She is at home now, resting and on some strong antibiotics. I worry extra because she is a senior, and I know it's more difficult to kick.

A typical day here. Work, a few meetings, and then getting ready for tomorrow.

It's hard to believe that my work is already starting to think about scheduling for the holidays. Since I am out of the building I got to put in my requests early and it looks like they are all being honored and I got a surprise holiday off too. I am working day on Halloween so we can trick or treat and then watch Christmas movies. I volunteered for Thanksgiving but I got that off. I'll work black Friday am, Christmas Eve morning and New Years Day night. My coworkers are mostly flexible since me and the store manager have kids so it all works out.

Today will be a busy day. I have some chores to finish this am and then I work tonight until 10. Have a great day everyone

Your poor Mom...she is the 3rd case of pneumonia I have heard of..crazy..hope she is better soon!
My brother has a confirmed case of the flu, was diagnosed Monday morning. He is on Tamiflu and is starting to feel a bit better.

Hope your brother gets better quick too!

Laundry is done and 4 loaves of sweet potato raisin bread just came out of the oven. Maybe I should shoot for 3 hours of sleep every night. Lol!

I got up from my desk to grab water and saw these 2 taking their morning naps! LOL... Andre is giving me his side eye and Leo is all chilled and relaxed on his back..(don't mind all the blankets, we keep them on the couches for the pups. )View attachment 49124

OMGosh!! So cute!!! Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night to find Lucy sleeping like that on her back! Makes me chuckle! I have to say - I'm a little jealous of those 2 right now! I could use a nap!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It was a quiet evening yesterday. We went to Nancy's parent's for dinner; we took KFC, and it was great!

I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to post tomorrow or Friday. I'll be travelling for work, but I'll try to post form the road.
