Merry Friday MMC ~
Not too much going on here today. I’m just working on a menu plan and grocery list. I’m going to take a ride to the butcher in a little while. My oldest and youngest both have off and are coming over later this afternoon. We’re going to do some shopping and I’ll probably order pizza for them when my middle one gets home from school. I’m looking forward to spending time with the three of them. I hope everyone has a nice day and a wonderful weekend ahead!!!

Just wanted to say thank you for all of the prayers and positive vibes for Harlowe today.
Her appointment went really well, I’m so relieved!!
I cried happy tears, and am so elated! This is the first time her stage hasn’t changed/progressed. Her murmur is louder, and levels have increased but only ever so slightly.

I will catch up here tomorrow, we are quite exhausted.

Happy Friday MMC! Hope you're all feeling well as we head towards the transition this weekend from Summer to Autumn. Truly the greatest, by far, of the 4 seasons begins this weekend. And what a great way to start it with some Halloween shows. Other than that I may go hiking with my friend. Hope you all enjoy your TGIF!

Wow cannot believe it has come so fast! I'm excited for the new halloween shows on food network, they always have some amazing pumpkin carvers! Enjoy your hike , we are still wet and muggy here waiting for the trails to dry up but as soon as they do we will be out there too!


Today I went to the Doctors and had a good check up, all that running is doing me good I guess! Hubby has to stay late at work today for a meeting so I picked up some fall mums to plant in the front yard and I'm going to do some yard work until he gets home. This weekend we are going over to the in laws house to work on a fall project, a big snoopy and the gang with pumpkin signs for the front yard . It is still in the mid 90's this week and will be next week too but I looked ahead in the weather forecast and they're calling for upper 80's soon...

Good Thursday morning! My first day back at work Monday wasn't too overwhelming but my feet and legs were so sore and and I was beat at the end of the day, it felt like I hadn't walked in forever. The rest of the week is going smoothly, I haven't done a single extra minute of work so far. I have the day off, we have some shopping to do today, David has another physio appointment and I have to go to the bank (seems everyone at the store forgot to order quarters during my vacation and we've run out). Then it will be the usual chores and laundry. And Loki is due for a bath, that's always fun (not!), but it's hilarious afterwards when he gets the zoomies. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning MMC!! Merry Friday Eve!! I haven't looked sooooooo forward to a weekend for a long time!!! LOL!!! I'm at my old job this morning & I'll head to the new job this afternoon. Tomorrow morning I have to bring Mandy (Amishville) home, so I'm planning to come to my "normal" job for the rest of the morning! Sounds like every day I'll be working at both places until the end of the year. What a yo-yo!!!

Everybody is very nice at the new job. I'm just frazzled by all of it! Holy Hannah!! They do things so different from my "normal"! It will take some getting use too. But the building is beautiful. Nice offices & clean. There is a nice kitchen/bar area right behind my desk, which makes it feel very Homey! I think it will be ok, it will just take some time!

My sister had her knee replaced yesterday. Sounds like all went well & hopefully she'll get to come home today.

What a week!

We just got home from Carolina's staple removal. The dr said it looked great and just to clean it with neosporin. She backed herself into a corner and screamed when they came in to see her so I had to hold her to me in a bear hug so they could pull them out. Even though she was crying they said she did a great job.
I am off today so we are just relaxing until it's time to take Carolina to school. I have to go back a half hour early so we can have an open house in her classroom and learn more about what she will do this year.

I am so glad that is over for you both, and that her head is healing great!

It sure was noisy around here a bit ago ~ lots of birds in the neighborhood. This is area is in a flyway and this particular group was flying West. Palmer and one of the chipmunks were scared. Palmer hid under the kitchen table, but the chipmunk sat on part of the old satellite dish, head tilted tail all puffed out, looking out into the woods trying to see what all the noise was. So cute!

Back to my research.

What a neat thing to observe! Hope Palmer is okay now, little sweetheart. Too cute about the chipmunk!

Happy Friday!! Another week is over and we are officially heading into fall!
We have no real plans for the weekend, my youngest has a softball game on Sunday and I am going to finish decorating for fall (finally) tonight.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday!!! Short day for me!! I was supposed to take Mandy (Amish) back this morning but my hubby ended up getting the day off & he took her home. So, I used the extra time to get some laundry & other things done around the house! (since I already told my boss I would be in late!) Shhhh! What's he going to do, fire me??? Ha ha ha!!!! I'm only at the "old" job today, so I'll be done a little after noon today! YAY! And it's a beautiful, though WARM day!! Chance of storms this afternoon. Tomorrow is only a predicted high of 65 with a low of 47! Holy Hannah, that will feel cold!!!

Good day folks! I took off from work the past 3 days so as I could go and see a primary care doctor up here in Connecticut and go to the Connecticut DMV, to get a drivers license and tags.

I had a primary care doc in Maryland, but since I’ve moved, I have not been to a doc for a general checkup. I also had to get blood work done yesterday, but the nurse who was trying to get it out of me, couldn’t. She poked, probed in both my arms to hit a vein with no luck. Oh, that didn’t feel to good with that needle digging around inside my arm. So, I went back again this morning, had a different nurse, and bop, she hit it on the first attempt.

As far as the Connecticut DMV is concerned, I would rather of had the nurse digging around in my arm with a needle then having to be here.
Yup, day 2, and I am still at the Connecticut DMV still trying to finish getting my tags. I got my license yesterday after 2 trips to the DMV and spending all day there. And I mean, all day there. I’m sitting on the floor here now at the DMV and it’s going to be another long day here. My ticket number is 565 and they are on 550 and it’s already after 11. Oh, so much fun!!!!!

I noticed that Christmas trees were going up in WalMart this morning!

I was at Lowe’s and they were putting out their Christmas decorations yesterday! I had to buy something right away.

I’m not much of a seafood fan either, but I can handle shrimp for some reason. And lobster. My husband wishes I liked more seafood. I told him he can order it we go out for dinner
