We are just relaxing tonight. Carolina and I went over to her friends house to play for a little bit. It was cool enough that I had to bring sweatshirts to wear on our walk home. Mike has mandatory overtime again. It seems like they will be starting to send more Christmas gift ables and a big push of Halloween candy. I am sure in the next couple weeks we will see more Christmas boxes come in so they are preparing for the season change. That usually results in lots of ot for him

Good evening my friends and Happy Friday wishes to you all. It's feeling more and more like Fall, especially in the evenings lately. I was driving earlier on the way home from the DMV and I was taking the back roads. I was super surprised to seeing leaves falling from the trees and also laying on those old country roads. The ma-pa roadside stands have pumpkins, cornstalks. mums and apple cider for sale everywhere. I came home and made our first real wood fire in the fireplace tonight.
In reality, it was really a little too warm for it in the house, but it sure did look and fell so nice. The popping sounds, sparks, hot coals on the bottom of the fireplace and the wood smell, yes, the Fall has arrived... We then decided to bake a couple batches of chocolate chip cookies, which I may say are quite warm and very yummy!!! I hope your evening is going well and I hope you have a nice night.

Morning MMC! Summer changes to Autumn today. How exciting is that? And think about the fact that Autumn won't end until...basically we're hours away from Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. Let that sink in. I have some normal errands to do like a usual Saturday morning and then going hiking with my friend this afternoon. Going to take Rollins. Tire him out some. Have a great Saturday!

Happy Saturday all. The weather is starting to change here. The temperature is falling and some of the leaves are beginning to turn. I may even have to wear a light jacket when I go out.
Made some coconut cranberry muffins last night, but had the oven a tiny bit hot. They came out a little darker than I would have liked, but still tasted good nonetheless. I have to make some potato salad for a church lunch on Monday, so that's in the works too.
I was in my local bookstore and they're starting to get all their Christmas kids books. There are so many wonderful, colourful books for the young kids for the holidays. My nieces and nephews are too old for them now, but it's fun to look through them anyway.

Just wanted to say thank you for all of the prayers and positive vibes for Harlowe today.
Her appointment went really well, I’m so relieved!!
I cried happy tears, and am so elated! This is the first time her stage hasn’t changed/progressed. Her murmur is louder, and levels have increased but only ever so slightly.
I will catch up here tomorrow, we are quite exhausted.

The month is racing away even faster than August!
All the more urgency to pay close attention to the count, lest it pass by so fast we miss it.
In that regard:
Days to the Season: 52
Days to Christmas Day: 94
And what's also racing up on us at a frightening pace is our next Milestone marker, the the 3/4 point to Christmas Day, now just THREE days up the road.
That's LESS THAN HALF A WEEK, Folks!
(I don't know about you, but it seems to me things have already started to get away from us.)
Well, it's remained warm all the way to the first day of fall.
Today will still seem like summer, with highs in the mid to upper 80's and humidity in the 70's percent range.
Our weekend has launched here at 73 sunny degrees.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone.

I'm sore from playing golf. I know I won't earn much sympathy from that, though LOL. It was a very hilly terrain, so I did a lot more steep walking than my calves are used to. It was good to get home.
Nancy and Elizabeth are spending the night on St. Simons Island with Nancy's sister at another family member's place. I'm not invited; girl's night out. Boo! Sounds like another Star Trek palooza tonight!

Hello all!
If finally feels like Fall! The high today here in my part of Ohio is 65. It is cloudy and breezy too. We spent about an hour cleaning up the house so we can decorate the inside for Halloween later this evening.
The windows are open and a nice breeze is moving through the house. Several fall scented candles are burning.... it is perfect!
I hope everyone is having a great day!

Not too much going on here today. I already went food shopping, tidied up the house and started laundry. I’m going to try and take Rocky for a walk as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. He’s still not crazy about it, the poor thing seems to be afraid of everything outside. Not sure if that’s normal for a puppy, my other two weren’t like this. I end up carrying him half way around the block and then he walks back towards the house. Anyway it should be a relaxing day. It’s going to be a beautiful, sunny with temperatures in the mid 70’s. We’re going to grill burgers and hot dogs for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!
