$2 for this Jim Shore candle warmer yesterday because of that little chip at the bottom. I’m thinking a little bit of dark green paint and you’ll never know.
What a great find!!! I ♥ it!!! 2 bucks???

Cheddar Pepper Pretzels??? Very Nice!!!!
Oh man, your killing me Holiday with all the yummy things you make.

I have to know what this one is, cause my belly is a growling.

LOL! I don't have the recipe here, but I think I can go from memory.

Cheddar Pepper Pretzels

1 lb. (20 oz) pretzel twists
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese Powder
1 Tbsp. (heaping - according to taste) Cayenne pepper
1 Cup Canola oil (I use a little less)

Preheat oven to 250º, put pretzels on jelly roll pan(s). Bake 30-45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

I have only seen the cheddar cheese powder in Amishville, but if you search for it on the internet, it's available there, if your stores don't have it. I stick it in the freezer & it lasts a long, long time! They are so good & quite spicy. I brought some in to my "new job" yesterday & they said "whew, those have some kick" LOLOL!!

Tip: Sometimes you can find the cheddar cheese powder in the aisle with popcorn and seasonings.

These sound good, but too peppery for me ... maybe a little sprinkle of Cayenne!

That’s great that Adrian likes his Second job, but your right, gotta be careful not to burn out, I wish him good luck.

Awww, poor little baby, HJ is so darn cute. Here’s an idea, Shiloh and Ariel just loved it last winter. We plugged in an electric heating blanket, put it on like 2 or 3, and put it on the futon. More than once I came into the room and I look over and saw both of them, on their backs, paws in the air, sound asleep. Ohhhh, they were 2 happy kitties last winter.
That sounds so cozy!!!!!

That was one of the most intense rainfall, that I’ve ever scene. Did you see that East Haddam was on the Weather Channel? Man, roads washed out, bridges were taken out, a couple of business taken out, trees down, that was wildly insane. I walked my property today since then, and I still got water running over my property and the ground is like one big ole giant wet sponge. And now I here we are supposed to get more rain tonight into tomorrow.

Hope you stay safe & dry!!!! xx

Forgot to post this about two weeks ago. While doing a quick run in local flea market found these really cool Cookie tins. The one wanted was the "It's a Wonderful Life Raisinets 65 years of Movie Magic' Since I was looking she offered me all of them for a dollar. How could I not take that deal?

On ebay the Its a wonderful life one goes about 15 bucks.

then we have a vote 88 M&M, and another M&M one.
the last one is a Maxwell coffee tin looks like thanksgiving

How awesome!!!! ♥

TGIF! Another rainy one here...BUT the weekend looks really nice. Tomorrow it's going to be around 70 with sunshine and Sunday 68 with sunshine. Talk about a perfect early Autumn weekend. Have a great Friday everyone!
Enjoy the perfect Autumn weather weekend!!!

Its a rainy wet morning here. As I was driving to work I started seeing leaves laying all over the road a sure sign that fall is upon us. It is supposed to be nice for the rest of the weekend once the rain clears out. Just work until 3 for me today and then Carolina has a playdate with the neighbor out back when they get done school. Have a great day
Hope Carolina has a fun play date!
I came across a picture on "your memories from this day last year" a couple weeks ago & it was a picture of our maple tree at work, all pretty fall colors. This year it is still totally green so far!!!
Have a great day!!!

Rainy 60's here also but we're suppose to get a peek of this thing they call "sun" later in the day. Not sure what it is, but I've heard people talk about it from back in the day. I understand it's really nice and can't wait to see it!
LOL! I hope you get to see that thing called "sun!" It's a beautiful sunny day here! I'll share!
Have a great day!

I can't believe the week is already done. Here there's a local map of all the farms and festival which happen throughout the year. Each time you visit a family farm and make a purchase you get a stamp. Then you can use those stamps to enter a contest to win a Thanksgiving basket. We finally made it 'round to the last few farms this week. I've sent my entry in and fingers crossed.

Only had some time to make some sour cream banana bread so far this week. Today and tomorrow though I should have some time in the evening. I'm itching to make something with pumpkin, but I haven't decided what yet. Maybe a bundt cake or muffins.

The show I'm rehearsing for goes up in two weeks, so we're putting the finishing touches on everything. The set is being built this Sunday. It will put everything in a new, more urgent, timeline, knowing it will just on the horizon.

I see the ornament exchange has begun. I've already met my buddy, and look forward to going treasure hunted for that special gift. Have fun today all.
Good luck in the contest! Sounds fun!
Have a great day!!

TGIF, Christmas friends!

Tonight is Homecoming at Elizabeth's school, and this morning they had the Senior Parade. All the seniors (including my Elizabeth!) parade by in front of the school on 4-wheeers, Kawasaki Mules, etc, decorated like parade floats. They just show off and have a good time. Tonight's the game and the Homecoming dance.

Also tonight, Jacob is singing in a production at the University with the school choir.

Busy night for us! Lunch today with mom & Jim.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Enjoy lunch with mom & Jim & your busy night!!!

Good Morning!

SINGLE DIGITS.
(Explanation below)

The numbers for this date:
Days to the Season: 46
Days to Christmas Day: 88

And yes, my Friends.
As of today, there are only 9 days remaining until the NINETY PERCENT HOME STRETCH Milestone marker to the Season.
(And we all know that is when the fast track really begins!)

A warm and humid day yesterday transitioned into an evening of rain with interspersed lightning and thunder. Severe thunderstorm warnings were up for a time but nothing significant developed.
Today should see another chance of storms before calmer conditions move in for the weekend.
It is currently 70 rather damp degrees here in our little sector of MMC.

Well, seeing as how it is Weekend Eve once again, it shouldn't be too hard for you to have a Fabulous Friday Friends, right?
Glad you stayed safe!!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Friday...TGIF!! Rainy morning here but is supposed to stop later and we have a nice weekend coming up. Tonight we have my daughter's soccer team coming over for the pasta party and they have a game tomorrow at 11 and then my youngest has a softball game on Sunday.
Hope you all have a great Friday and weekend!
Hope the soccer party goes great!! Enjoy!
Have a great weekend!

Sorry to hear of your loss. When you know someone that long you think they'll be around forever!

Your weekend plans sound great though! Hope you have a great time and it cheers you up. I love chili, Fall, and football!
Thank you! Yes, he will be missed!

Yes, I'm with ya ~ looking forward to tomorrow! I love dumping all them ingredients into a big cast iron kettle. So fun!!

Merry Friday MMC!
Woke up to heavy downpours this morning but it looks like it’s trying to clear up now. We’re supposed to have a beautiful sunny weekend ahead with temperatures in the 70’s. I’m just having my coffee and I’m working on a menu plan and grocery list. I’m going to head out soon to run a couple of quick errands. I’m picking my mother up later and we’re going to take a ride over to my youngest daughters apartment. We will grab a pizza on the way so we can have lunch together. Other than that I’ll be working on my daily chores. That’s about it. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!
xx
Have fun with your mom & daughter today! Pizza sounds tasty!!
Enjoy your weekend!

So sorry for your loss (((hugs)))
Your plans at the lake sound like fun, I hope you have a great time. Keep warm and have a nice weekend Holiday!
xx
Thank you HMG!!! ♥

The only thing I've ever been able to find w/ the popcorn is a cheddar salt. This isn't as salty - I don't think??? Doesn't seem to be?? But I might be wrong.

LOL ~ you can use as much or as little Cayenne as you prefer! ;) I like it zippy! :D

Hmmmmm ... guess I didn't read the labels closely enough. I thought it was cheddar powder. It's probably not a good idea to add more salt to pretzels!

I see various cheddar powders available online.
