Thank you so much for all your thoughts, well wishes and prayers. I really appreciate that.

I’ve been home since Tuesday and I feel better than I did, but I am still feeling feeling some pain and discomfort in my abdomen. If I do too much, I start to feel week and get shaky, where I need to sit down. All my blood test reports all came back as normal (which is fantastic), but No one yet knows what caused this.

I don’t know, this stupid middle age stuff that happens for no reason at all, just drives me nuts. I don’t like, not being able to do what I consider is normal for me to be like on an average day.

I’ve been taking it easy, but tomorrow, I’m going to push myself some to try and get straightened out.
Hope you are feeling better by now!! xx

Good chilly Monday morning MMC! I hope you all had a nice weekend!!!

Ours was good & super fast!!! Mom kind of had a rough weekend. He legs just didn't want to work! She is a piece of work!! It's like her brain just shuts down the sensory to tell her legs to move! But oh boy she can move when SHE wants too!! LOL!!! God love her!

My Buckeyes really stunk up the place Saturday night. And then my Browns got beat in OT yesterday! Not a good weekend in sports! We'll get through it! :p

Jim broke down & turned on the heat at home this morning! Brrrr.... It was SO windy at the lake Friday night. I don't know that I've ever seen white caps like that before on the lake! Crazy!

Have a good Monday everyone!!!

My picture on the way home from the lake this morning...

Sorry to hear your Mom had a rough weekend.
Beautiful pic and hope you have a great Monday!!

Okay, I bought 5 megamillion tickets. If I win, I’ll rent a 747, pick you all up, and we’ll have one heck of a party while visiting Christmas sights around the world!!
Sounds like you better go buy some more.... But I'm in for the 747 ride to see Christmas sights! :D

Happy New Week!

I hope it will be a happy week ... Mr. has a cold and isn't feeling well, so I may be next ... and that would scuttle any audio projects for a few weeks, as a cold totally wrecks my voice. Wish me luck!

On the other hand, I found a vintage 1916 copy of a book I love in really good condition (for its age) and couldn't resist buying it. It should arrive this week! Until now I've only been able to read the book in a PDF I found online. It'll be nice to be able to read the actual book, and see illustrations that aren't low-res scans!
Hope he is better soon and you don't catch it!
Have a great Monday!

Morning all and a happy Saturday. We are off to a Hallowe'en festival tomorrow, so I've a few chores to get done today around the house. Coffee is definitely required. Have a great weekend.

Hope you had a great time at the Halloween festival!!

Good morning! Normally, if be asleep, but getting up in the middle of the nite to pick up my daughter from work makes it difficult for me to fall back to sleep. So....yup, my fav place,,MMC!! We are decorating our son's house today for next Saturday's Halloween party, home made corn dogs for dinner! But first and foremost , taking the grandbabies to breakfast this morning! Have a lovely day, take a swig of coffee for me!
Hope you had a great weekend!!

Happy Saturday! It's amazing that it's 7:30 AM right now and it's pitch black out still. It's really dark. I know this time of year is in the morning but for some reason I don't remember it being this late this dark still. Well 2 more weeks till we fall back. Hope you all enjoy your Saturday!
Not looking forward to the fall back...
Happy Monday!

Happy Saturday, MMC!!! It’s going to be a windy day with rain and snow showers starting this afternoon. Wow!! I can’t believe no one hit the mega millions last night. 1.6 billion? Forget renting that 747. I’m buying it and having Valerie deck it out in mercury glass and glitter. Lol!! I haven’t really decided what I’m doing today. I might head to the south side of Indy. I hope everyone has a great day!!
Did you end up getting snow?

Have a great day everyone! Its Carolinas birthday so we have a busy day. She has been up since 6 and had her presents open by 6:15. We have church in a little bit and then celebrations all day
I hope Carolina is feeling better & she had a great birthday!

Good morning, Christmas friends. Hope all is well. Just getting up and trying to get going, but that is easier said than done this morning.

We went to our Zoo Boo last night...and I was pretty disappointed. I don't even think the girls were amused. They got a little candy, but you could barely see as they didn't have enough lights out. Glad we went because we spent time together, but it was one of those things that you do and then you don't do, again.

As for today, I will finish cleaning my garage. I have to get it cleaned up and create a workstation (I guess that is what you can call it). Next weekend, I put up Christmas lights.

Did you read that?

Next weekend, I put up Christmas lights. The garage is where they are all stored, lights changed, untangled and then put on the house. I like to get it done before it gets too cold. In 13 days, the Christmas Tree goes up.

Y'all...it's happening!

I love old books too. Recently picked up a copy of "The Complete Home" by Mrs.julia McNair Wright printed in 1870. The binding is stitched and considering its age, holding together quite well. It talks about important matters like proper age for marriage, when to mend clothing, taking time for charity work, being a model wife, when is the proper time to sit down and read and many more things a woman should know to run a proper home.

Merry Sunday MMC!
My daughters bridal shower was yesterday and it was beautiful! The wedding will be here before I know it, can’t wait to see her walk down the aisle. So exciting!
I don’t have too much planned for today, I’m still exhausted from yesterday. I’m just going to catch up with the laundry, I didn’t get to do any yesterday. I’m also going to make baked ziti for dinner. That’s about it.
I hope everyone is well and enjoys the rest of the weekend!
xx
Glad to hear the shower went well! :)

Good Sunday late afternoon! I hope everyone has been enjoying a great weekend. It’s gotten quite cool here, the winds have been downright cold and trees are losing their leaves quickly. After doing our usual grocery shopping this morning, I went to get most of what I need for my Halloween costume: blue leopard-print leggings, a Def Leppard t-shirt and an acid-wash jean shirt without sleeves. Yep, I’m going for all things 80s. All I’m missing are the accessories: a headband, bright scrunchie, colourful neon bracelets and the like.

Since Halloween is right around the corner, David decided to start watching some horror fare, starting with the Netflix series The House on Haunted Hill. I am half-watching because it’s a great cast but not fully watching because I get scared too easily and it’s not good for my mental health. Now he’s taking a break to make his great spaghetti sauce for supper, so I’ll watch some Great British Bake Off for something light and fun.

Oh and I pre-ordered Pentatonix’ new Christmas album coming out this week. Can’t wait for new Christmas music!

Have a great evening everyone!
I can't watch scary movies either. I'm a chicken! LOL!
Hope you had a great weekend!

Morning MMC! The Halloween Trail was more fun this year than last year. It was extra scary and the cold weather really set the mood (although it felt more like Christmas time than Halloween time). It was a lot of fun though and I hope to go next year for a 3rd year in a row. And today I just have a Monday at work. Other than that, hoping you all enjoy the start to this final week before Halloween Week!
Glad you had a great time! Happy Monday!

That sounds fascinating!

A few of my favorite books (including Christmas books) were published between 1910 and 1920; some of them are children's books, but still delightful reading! The book I bought is one of three consisting of "Hollow Tree" stories by Albert Bigelow Paine. The stories are for children, but not written in an overly "kiddified" way---and many of them are funny, too! I discovered the PDF on Google Books. Doggone it, now I want the other two books! But they rarely survive in good shape; most copies are nearly "loved to death."
