Days to Christmas Day: 33 (Getting close to the ONE MONTH mark!)
(Time is slipping away, Folks.)

Cold but seasonal weather has arrived. A nip in the air is conducive to the Thanksgiving/Christmas Season feel. (Just so long as it's a nip and not a bite!)
We begin this day of thanks at 36 degrees here in our part of MMC Land.

I am asking for a prayer request...my Dad had a cat scan on Tuesday and they had to admit him to the hospital yesterday for tests as they think he may have liver cancer. I was with him all day yesterday and I am going down to see him this morning and then we are still hosting and we should have more answers tomorrow. Sorry I don’t mean to be a downer on this great day..

Do not apologize SnowflakeMom, you are not a downer, you simply need all the positive thoughts possible to go your dad's way at this time, and you have mine.

Good Thursday morning! Bright sunshine and -26°C/-15°F with the windchill factor this morning. Towards the end of his walk, Loki was keeping one paw up and then would switch to another while walking/limping, the ground was so cold. I picked him up for a bit and was rubbing his paws to warm them up. Right now David is watching a movie (Pacific Rim 2) and I have a load of laundry going. He has physio later on today, then we'll go do some shopping. I need a new battery for my kitchen scale. Hope everyone enjoys a wonderful day!

Poor baby, hope he's feeling better now. It is quite cold here this morning too it is minus 13 Celsius here which is about 8 degrees Fahrenheit

Just sitting down now to relax and watching Hallmark. Everyone is gone and DH is at work. Since we’re going to be really stuffed from lunch, I told the kids I’ll just make some chicken and pizza dips, throw in some popcorn, and we can munch on that tonight. We’re just going to sit around, watch movies and play some games. I hope you’re all enjoying the day!

SFM, I'm so sorry. I will keep you father in my prayers. I hope and pray that you all receive better news of you dad. Your not a downer, it's ok to share, because we are your friends. And friend care about their friends.
