Greetings everyone, prayers for those of you with sick loved ones and with worries for other situations in your families. I pray that the reminders of the promise fulfilled of Jesus Christ will comfort us all.

Thank you and yes, you are so right about that reminder!

Yep!

I know Mr. wants the 2018 World Series on DVD. It'll make Christmas shopping for him easy!
It has arrived! The answer to the packaging of the 18 inning game is, What is innings 1 - 9 on disc 3 and innings 10 - 18 on disc 4?

Thanks! I think tennis elbow is more about strained tendons, while this is more about the "funny bone" nerve. It feels like I hit my funny bone, and it won't clear up.

LOL Makes it hard to type. I've had to re-type this post a couple times. :p

OUCH!!! I do not like that (hitting the funny bone) feeling, that feels super weird.

Prayers for your ex-mother-in-law and prayers for you and your family.

Please know that prayers are being said {{{hugs}}}

Xmas- check your mail.

Prayers for your son and his unit. May they be safe.
May the doctors be able to treat your children’s Grandmother in a way that restores her to health.

They are added to the prayers in progress...

Morning MMC! We have a cold and dry morning here. Nice to actually have dry weather and that looks to continue right through the weekend. It's nice to have a stretch without rain or snow even. Some Christmas wrapping is on the agenda for tonight. Anyone behind like I am? Have a great Pines Day!

Good afternoon MMC. Been suffering with a cold here that the kids caught at school and decided they need to share it with us. Wish I could stop sneezing and snorting. Stay warm

Sometimes if something is really funny; I snort. :bundleup

DD got that book when she was in early elementary school. It was cute!

The local Christmas parades were supposed to be last Saturday but were postponed until this Saturday because of rain. Now there is 90% chance of rain this Saturday. DD is in high school band & was looking forward to marching in the parade, but the instruments can't get wet. DH has two Christmas movies that are must sees for him: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation & White Christmas. We still need to watch White Christmas so we need to find a free night for three of us! I'm looking forward to our 25th wedding anniversary trip in two weeks. We're taking a few days off in Pigeon Forge. DD will spend that time between both sets of grandparents. We all need some down time from work & school, so I'll be glad for a couple of weeks of refreshment for DD. Being 13 and in middle school shouldn't be so stressful...

I hope everyone is able to find at least a little time to relax and enjoy the next three weeks---three weeks from today is Christmas Day!

So it's really raining on your parade. It would be cool if they could move part of the parade to an indoor mall or school gym, minus the floats; a walking parade or festive stations would be a different way of celebrating with a special event.

Man, me too! I did that kind of thing, when I working at Bethlehem Steel company as a Maintenance Millwright. I'd work doubles and triples and then switch it all around, and for awhile there, I didn't know what day it was or if I was coming or going. Nope, never again.

I did shift work at group homes back in the late 80's; glad that's over. I didn't roll well with that kind of life; better off with "regular" waking hours. Totally drained my inner batteries.

Why did I buy that ceramic tree from Michaels? The closet is already bursting ...... Not Yabba, #downsize !

NO! You must make room for your ceramic tree and all other "must have" festive delights.
Is the space under the bed taken? :locotree

Happy Wednesday and Merry Pines Day! -reindeer-

So, I had about 2 dozen photos turned into magnets for relatives to add to their Christmas cards.

6 of them aren't going anywhere. I have an adorable one of O'Malley the cat touching his nose with his tongue, one of my brother and I at my wedding and another one of him and I when we got together recently in Toronto (he's getting one too), one of my Godmother and Mom on St. Patrick's Day (many years ago - mom was younger than I am now), one of my parents, brothers and grandparents when I was only 6 and so adorable (although found it hard to sit like a lady) and one of my dad's winter evening oil painting that I hope will adorn my wall one of these days, but for now I have the magnet.

4 of the 6 I kept made their way to my file cabinet so I can sneak a peak any time I want.

The one of the cat toughing his tongue is on the fridge at home holding up Jayish's MMC radio business card.

I haven't given my husband the one of his mom yet (she died before we ever met) and one of a deer taken at a bog that turned out really cool and another one of the cat laid back and looking content for our fridge.

That means I'm down 9 magnets to give away - back to the print shop, I go this Friday. Sending cards out this weekend to family and relatives; the MMC card crew had to get theirs first.

Christmas potluck today and working hard with some festive music playing in the background.

:shakeitKeep a merry thought in your head,

Happy Hump Day!
We received great news at my dad's appt and he does not have cancer. The lesions on his liver are benign but he is having some liver functioning issues so we have to go see a liver specialist and they should be able to control it by medication. Thanks again for all the prayers and well wishes.
I have to take my daughter to the Apple Store to pick up her phone.
Hope you all have a great day!

Prayers answered; and new ones for the Dr. to get to the bottom of things and fix him up.

Good Morning, Everybody.
Really moving in on Christmas Day now, as we pass below the three week mark.

Today's data release:
Days to Christmas Day: 20
Under three weeks, and into the teens tomorrow!
(Not much time left, Folks.)

The cold spelll has commenced here in the state of North Carolina, and we begin today at 42 degrees, bound for a high only in the mid-40's, then dropping well below freezing tonight.
We will not see temps above 50 again for at least a week and a half, as winter gives us a sneak peek of what is to come.

Carl?
Well he could not care less about the weather. The 'Pines is always warm and inviting, especially during the holidays.
Check in this evening and enjoy more of the inn's Christmas Decor and seasonal treats.

Until then, have a Wonderful Wednesday, Guys!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's hasn't rained in a couple days, but there's still water everywhere. Our yard is "smooshy" and the driveway is muddy. Blech!

I'm supposed to go to Atlanta tomorrow for an overnight business trip, but we're getting the results from my MIL's cancer scan tomorrow afternoon. Nancy is pretty nervous about it, so I might change my plans and drive to Atlanta early Friday morning for the meeting. I pray she gets a good report, too!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Thanks, good to know! Previously, they always tried to fit one game to a disc, but I figured they couldn't do it with that game! Interesting---they fit a standard nine innings on one disc, then the remainder on the next.

Gosh, baseball season seems SO far past just now.
