Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!
When I got home yesterday, I put on my sweatpants and a long-sleeve shirt and went for a walk. After my heart attack a few years ago, I exercised daily, but I slowly got out of the habit. It's like I don't even remember how bad it hurt LOL! Anyway, it was great! I played one of the Merry Little Podcasts, and just walked around town. I hope I can get back into the habit.
Tonight, I'm cooking fish again for Nancy's parents. I guess they liked my blackened tilapia last week.

Another chilly day today but looks like it is going to warm up by the end of the week. My daughters missed the bus this morning so I had to drive them to the school...the drop off line at our middle school is crazy!
Typical work day for me and tonight I need to catch up on folding laundry. Tonight we are having slow cooked baby back ribs for dinner.

And if you've stuck with us this long, you can most certainly call yourselves relentless because Christmas Day is really just a bit around the corner now.
How far around, you ask?
Well:
Days to Christmas Day: 13
And you will quickly note that the date in question is now LESS than two weeks away!
Yep.
'Tis true, 'tis true!
It was still pretty chilly yesterday so there remains lots of snow around but the roads are clear and driving is no longer an issue at all.
Today will see us climb a bit higher, with a predicted high of 50 degrees.
That should take care of most of the rest of our white blanket.
Currently, we are starting off this center day of the week at 35 degrees.
Well, this evening is the next-to-the-last 'Pines Day open house before Christmas (can you believe that!) and guess what? It has snowed at our inn of choice too, and it looks beautiful!
No doubt, Carl will have some frozen precipitation-related activites planned. I wonder what that might entail?
Come and see this evening!

Merry Tuesday!
Went with my brother to the VA hospital as he had some business he had to take care of today. Did a bit of thrifting ~ found some good stuff for the store! Always nice when that happens. Not feeling the greatest today, so ended up home fairly early and I've just been curled up under a blanket, reading, until an hour ago. Had a rough night with lots of weird/scary dreams and I think that has a lot to do with the way I feel today. A good night's sleep should set me to rights.

Good Morning, MMC!! It’s going to be a beautiful day here with a high near 50 and lots of sun. I got most of my shopping done yesterday but still have a few things to pick up. I’m out of ideas though. Teenagers are such a pain to buy for. Today I’m going to do some baking. I also want to get my Christmas menu planned out. I hope everyone has a great day!!!

Not much up for today besides working both places. I think I'll probably be starting to spend more time at the new place than here at the old before long! I'm thankful to have the new place take me in - people are great - lots of perks....it's just too quiet!!! They have music on, but from my desk I can barely hear it. Maybe I'll have to look into pulling Pandora up on my computer if they allow it. But things are starting to get wrapped up here at the old job, so it won't be long. Kinda sad.
One of these nights I'm going to get some Christmas up at home. I was hoping for last night, but it didn't happen. Too much stuff going on!! This is so not like me to be so grinchy looking in our house!!! (although the tree's are up & I enjoy them a lot!)
