Praying they found out what is going on. Sounds like it could definitely be an infection with possible sepsis, which is treatable and thank goodness got on it right away!

Thanks Sugar! The hospital said they would call if test results were positive but so far no calls so I guess that is good

Good Wednesday morning! We’re in the middle of a cold snap that should break Friday. I even turned on the heat in the bedroom yesterday it was so cold. We usually only heat two rooms in the Winter and keep the bedroom cool for a good night’s sleep.

And I haven’t had one of those so far this week, with being called in the middle of the night again, for the second night in-a-row, after another alarm went off at the store, and the two previous nights waking up at 3am. Hoping for uninterrupted sleep tonight.

Morning MMC! Today I'll be attending my 7th Christmas Party at this job. It's always been one of my favorite things of the year at work. It's always fun. And it just really hits me where we are when I am there in terms of the holiday season. Just hope everyone is taking it all in right now. And lots of Christmas stuff to do this weekend after today. I have lots to do today. I’m heading to the mall to do some clothes shopping, we have to attend two parties this weekend and I’m looking for new outfits. I also have to make a Target run, I have a list of things that we need and I haven’t been able to get there. And I’ll keep my eye open for any Christmas gifts I might be able to buy while I’m out. Other than that I’ll be working on my daily chores. I have chicken defrosting for dinner but I have to figure out what I’m doing with it. I need to cook breakfast right now and start this day. I hope everyone is well and has a great Thursday!

This year is a "bit off" for me with mom just passing. I don't even have my decorations up, other than my tree's. What the heck???

I'm really sorry to hear that :-( I cannot imagine the loss of a parent...

I'm leaving work at noon to take Nancy's car for service. While it's there, I'm going with Jacob to traffic court to pay the fine for his accident a few weeks ago. Then I'm meeting Nancy to go Christmas shopping.

And can we really be talking about SINGLE DIGITS to Christmas Day 2018 at this point?
Can we truly be that close?
Decided for yourselves:
Days to Christmas Day: 12
Wow! After just two more days, we will indeed be facing single digits to the Big Day itself!

Slowly, ever so slowly, we warm up. Each day perhaps 2-3 degrees warmer than the day before. Still snow lying around but grass and shrubs are showing!
Today will see us hopefully break into the mid-50's and that should give the snow pack the final blow.
Right now we have again started out fairly cold, at 34 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Thrilling Thursday Guys, as you look forward to the next-to-the-last Weekend Eve before Christmas!

Ugh another school shooting here. At least the school cop was able to take down the shooter before he hurt anyone.

Monday night a 14 year old kid shot and killed a customer at the Dollar General a mile up the street from me during a armed robbery.

I don’t know what’s wrong with people anymore.

Happy Thursday (a.k.a. Friday Eve)!

It's a bit of a peculiar Christmas season at the workplace. A decoration competition started on the 5th that is supposed to be judged next Wednesday, but NOBODY has decorated. I guess they'll all do it at the last minute, because they are a very competitive bunch. But it's so different from last year, when decorations burst out all over the place in December, and there were TWO full-sized Christmas trees, one on each "side" of the building.

We have our tree up and decorated on our side, but then again ... I'm the only one who's ever bought decorations and put them on the tree. I also bring in a foot button so we don't have to plug in/unplug the lights every day. I think it's kind of taken for granted, although my supervisor (who has a desk near the tree) gives me credit if someone walks by and comments on the tree.

I don't try to compete, because the judges are looking for really over-the-top displays, and I like my modest little desktop tree and a few other items. I decorate because I like to have some Christmas around me, not to win a prize. Well, if nobody else decorates, maybe I'll win by default ... but I'd rather see some Christmas displays by others to add a little more spirit to the place.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!! I'm at job #1 & I need to stay until my boss makes a delivery. He's playing on the interenet (unlike me! HA!) I'm ready to give him the boot so he gets back here & I can get out of here & over to the new place. Ha ha!

Girls night out tonight. I think I am taking tomorrow off work. I have vacation to use up! I'm planning to work on getting Christmas decs out & Christmas candy!!
