They just raised our snow amount. Awhile ago I watched the temp drop 15° in 30 minutes. Now we are 12-18".We were "supposed" to get 8-12"...now down to 1-3"! Good luck!!

What a long week it has been. I'm so glad the weekend is almost here!
Yesterday the snow melted except for a few patches in the woods. Today we had freezing rain early, then several inches of snow. The ice didn't stick to the porch which was nice, but it was still a mess to sweep. It is pretty out!
It will be a good weekend to stay in and get caught up on a few things.

This is the first night I'm spending in without any Christmas stuff up. I took the last few things down on Wednesday of this week, but ended up getting busy that night as well as last night. So now, this is the first night of actually hanging out at home since everything came down. It's kind of weird. I just got home from doing something. And I'm kind of just sitting here twiddling my thumbs right now. It's funny because I'm not even doing anything differently than I was doing during the Holidays. Just relaxing, watching a movie, going about my evening. But it just feels......like I'm expecting something to happen. Like there's something I should be doing. And again, I'm literally doing nothing differently right now than when it was the season. Thankfully, I'm not all depressed about it or anything like I've been in previous years. It just feels super weird.

Love the 2 tree idea!!Enjoy your pizza. I picked up a Digiorno pizza last night for Mom & I for supper tonight. I figured with the weather being icky it will be a quick & easy supper! I don't think I've ever had that brand before. I've been seeing their commercials constantly on tv "It's not deliver, it's Digiorno's?" LOL I hope it's good! If I decide to make something for supper, we'll have pizza for lunch tomorrow!

Morning MMC! Happy Weekend to Everyone. Our snow melted last night with all the rain we got. The temps are dropping rapidly today and by tonight it will be very cold again. Just got a lot of errands to do today and may actually go in to work this afternoon just for 2-3 hours. I hope you all have a great Saturday!

It’s very dreary here this morning but it’s supposed to clear up and we’re expecting highs near 45 degrees. Not too much going, I’m just having my coffee and relaxing. We got in really late last night so I’m just going to take it easy today. I have to do a few loads of laundry but that’s about it. I’ll be watching the Islander/Ranger game this afternoon. My husband and I have plans to go out for dinner later this evening, I just have to decide where I want to go.
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful weekend!

Happy Saturday! We have no more snow but I am hearing we may get some Tues or Wed..we’ll see..I have my daughter’s basketball game today and then we are going out to dinner with some friends tonight and then maybe out to watch some of the Patriots game. Hope you all have a great Saturday!

Our end-of-the-week oasis of relaxation gives us more time to pour over the daily data while lingering over our warm fired twinkies and tea.
So, if you are now in the proper frame of mind, I will present the new numbers set.
Here goes:
Days to the Season: 304
Days to Christmas Day: 346
And can the 300-Day Season Window really be just FOUR days away. Barely over HALF A WEEK?
(Well, if you read it in the count chart, it must be so.)
Yesterday was either great or lousy, depending on your point of view.
On the one hand, we reached 70 degrees for our high. (That was the great.)
On the other, it rained nearly the entire day. (That was the lousy.)
Well, actually we needed the rain so it was not really so lousy.
But would you believe, tonight it is supposed to get down to 21 degrees, then 18 for tomorrow night?
(Now that's REALLY lousy!)
We are at 47 degrees right now after starting at 50 and will just keep declining all day.
But regardless of whateve weather situation you might be facing, you have a Simply Sensational Saturday, OK?
(Don't forget the NFL playoff games today!)

The coffee is all brewed, fresh, aromatic and hot and I must say, I nailed it this morning with just the right amount, that hit's the spot, taste great and is doing the trick this morning. The kitties are up and about, running around chasing each other, I had to go over and separate them a little, the big one was getting a little too rough playing around with the little one.
The weather outside looks and sounds blahhhh out. It was 37 degrees and quiet all of a sudden the wind started howling and now the temperature outside is dropping. Looks like a cold front is starting to move thru and the temperatures are supposed to continue to fall throughout the day, drop like 25 degrees and get into the low teens tonight.....
Stay warm and cozy everyone home!

Nancy and I missed the family dinner last night. We're both a little unwell with some virus that's passing through. It's not a terrible as the typical stomach bug, but it's enough to make you feel blah. Hopefully, it'll be gone soon.
